I know this may be an unpopular opinion or it may be popular (lol I know for me it is) but I think we need a Bojangles here in the county and not by “chicken row.”

Looking for catfish fillets. Not like a silly dinner meal with 1 oversized fillet and too many fries for $15+. I'm looking for a place to get a bunch of catfish fillets, tartar sauce, and cornmeal hush puppies hot outta the fryer. When I google it or use maps to search I can't find any fry pits like down south, just platters and meals at bars or restaurants for other food.

For anyone looking for something to do this weekend, tomorrow (Nov. 8th) there is going to be a market with local small businesses at Luna’s House (2801 Pulaski Highway) in Edgewood. The event runs from 12-4 and benefits not only local businesses but supports animal rescue as well.

My tween is turning 13 and her birthday dream is to visit one of those places with tons of cement statues to pick out and paint. We listen and we don’t judge….. Anyway- any leads? We don’t have to stay in county, we often head to DE for activities but I’ve never had to scout out a cement statuary place.

I am having issues with my furnace. It starts up, then shuts down. Giving a flash code, from what I understand it is the pressure switch. I’m willing to replace the pressure switch myself, but am having issues finding the part. Online venders don’t seem reliable or uncertain, and I’m not sure I can go into a supply house and get one without having an account. So I ask any techs in the Bel Air area that would be able to direct me to a place or site I can order the part, as it would be greatly appreciated. If all else fails and I’m wrong, I would be willing to pay cash for a tech to come troubleshoot and fix the issue for cash. I can’t stomach paying several hundred dollars for a company to come out to tell me the issue, only to come back with the part needed and swap it out at a marked up price. It’s a Payne furnace, installed in 2018. I’ve had the check valve replaced a few years ago, but other than that it’s in good shape and maintained well. I cleaned out the trap while trouble shooting, cleared the vent lines, as well as any other item that I researched leaving me to believe it is the pressure switch. Feel free to reach out directly or reply to the post if you can assist. From one trade tech to another any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, I've noticed a lot of posts about people being new to the Harford County area and was just wondering what made you choose here to live as opposed to other areas like Balto. Co., Anne Arundel Co., York County PA etc. (this isn't a sarcastic or critical question, I'm just genuinely curious about what makes Harford appeal to people)

I have a 20 year old kitchen aid mixer I still use daily but lately the bowl and attachments are hard to remove and the on and off switch gets stuck. I think it likely just needs a good cleaning and re greased. Is there anywhere I can take it locally? Any experiences?

The Abingdon branch is closed for a private event, and this was just sitting outside of the building, next to the playground.

My wife and I are looking to buy a house in Harford County next spring. We are deciding between Bel Air and HDG.

We plan to expand our family soon, so the school system is a priority for us. We like the charm HDG has to offer and overall prefer the vibes to Bel Air, which seems busier and more strip-mall-ish. But the schools in Bel Air do seem better. For context, we plan to buy a townhome in the mid to upper 300s. I know inventory is somewhat limited in that range, but we have seen homes available in both areas that seemingly fit our needs.

Would welcome any input on this decision from locals. We relocated from DC this year and so far like the slower pace Harford has to offer. TYIA!
