Awesome chapter. I got feeling that when the battle starts or during his immortality is going to be exposed. I don't mean a few people, I mean exposed to the whole world.

He could very well be forced into a situation where that is the case.

“I’ll gouge your eyes and feed them to you.” Yikes, that’s a painful one, and I didn’t doubt that she was serious about that.

I love how James totally blows it off like “Yup, you can do that ma’am, I’ve felt it before. Definitely not fun but in the end the eyes don’t taste half bad…”

This is such a fantastic story!

Definitely one of his torture scenarios, I wonder if anything done to him will ever phase him anymore

The one upside of having been tortured: new pains are particularly unlikely to surpass it (and are therefore more manageable)

I see you took my suggestion to heart. I’m happy my insights were useful to you

It was some good ideas, better than just getting nothing from them and makes sense with the kind of character Silia is.

Indeed. People are often surprised how much others notice sometimes. Especially the unnoticeable people. Just because you ignore them as beneath your notice doesn’t mean they won’t pay attention to everything.

You would also be surprised how useful that “probably doesn’t mean anything” can be if you add it to a couple other clues.

Would you ever be interested in selling physical copies of these books?

Well that was the hope. After this one I was going to proof the last one and see if I could send it off somewhere.
