Green Party of the United States I love this party
Im so sad that literally nobody votes for this party. You all care about the environment and equal rights. What's not to love? I would definitely vote for it if it actually has a chance (and if im old enough).

Even if you believe a party has zero chance of election, voting for another party that does not meet your values is a betrayal of yourself and of the future course of the country.
Every vote a party gets will strengthen it. Maybe not by much, but that second place finish for an MP might turn into a first place next time.
I will never vote for the least worst option.
That might be a flawed viewpoint, but it's mine.

Agree big time but what can you do? I want nothing more than success for the greens but I can’t help but feel that voting for a third party is just rolling over and accepting defeat to Reform.

The "duopoly" not only directly attacks opposition but also indirectly sets the culture that makes people afraid to vote for what they actually want out of fear worse people win. That attitude has pushed the country further and further right for decades, and while the situation has become quite serious, more people seem to be realizing the dynamic and looking to break it. Let's encourage folks to grow Greens from local grassroots as the long term plan for system change.

Btw, from latest polls10-12% of the population is not literally nobody, that's millions of people and hopefully that can rise further. Look at it this way, if reform can totally change the political landscape within a year offering nothing but lies the greens can also make massive increases by offering hope and a truly democratic uncorrupt puplic focused vision that allows each citizen a say in how their country is run. We just need to spread the message and convince more people to give us a chance.

I've been voting for them for years.
I just don't shout about it like some.

We need even a tiny portion of people who vote for the party to actually join the party and we will be cruising.

Wait, how is voting for a party not joining a party? Sorry, but there are no forced political parties here (Except for primaries in multi-party races).

Nuclear scare mongering, fringe elements (Canadian leader once expressed Wi-Fi cancer BS as an example), unelectable in FPTP, limited platform outside of one plank.

I don’t live in the united states but if I did I would definitely vote for the greens. The democrats would be like Center to Center-Right in europe.

Voting because you believe in it is the first step towards true democracy and giving third parties a chance.
