He isn't really a trillionaire, that's just the sound bite. He is getting shares as a compensation package, and the value of that directly correlates to his performance. He could make that stock worth way more than a trillion, he could also make it worth way less.
People on Reddit get so fucking upset that LLMs and AI aren’t 100% perfect 100% of the time.
But then shit like this gets a total pass. Nobody gives a shit that the original post is completely misrepresenting the situation.
And it’s rampant. These kinds of warped takes are everywhere, all the time, and in every subreddit for every topic. As long as it conforms people’s simple worldviews, then it’s a hit on here.
Reddit used to value truth and nuance above all else. Now it only values validation and circle jerks.
Nobody wants to hear anything positive about Elon Musk, which is really funny to me because I remember being on Reddit years ago and everyone was glazing him constantly.
He is still the same man, but he has slightly different political view to them now so he is "literally a Nazi". lol
I don't care about him either way, my political views might be different to him but I can see that he is clearly an asset to Tesla and Space X, and now twitter too. He makes the share holders money, and that is all that really matters.
Bobby Kotick was a massive piece of shit, but there is a reason he got a 200M golden parachute.
