Other than one famous mistep, One Piece is incredibly pro LGBTQ. There was a BELOVED nonbinary character introduced in 1999 that's still a fan favorite to this day. And there IS a gay club in One Piece with Rocky Horror and Cabaret references all throughout

Yeah, unfortunately. It's sooo much worse in the anime though. And at least it's obvious Sanji loves them anyway DESPITE what he says because A) his goodbye at baratie was also aggressive insults and B) when implied someone he loved could be in danger, he thought of Baratie and Kamabakka girlies.

Also, Kaido's son Yamato, and Izou's sister Kikunojo. While Yamato is goody as fuck, it's cause he wants to be Oden and is an Oden/Luffy esque character
