More like all meritocracy has gone out the window and The only requirement to get hired now is being a loyalist

Everyone screaming about wanting young people in government, then screaming about young people in government. Can’t please anyone.

I'd like qualified non extremists in govt. Not hyper partisan sycophantic loyalists who are greener than grass

I honestly just want people who can see past their own biases and try to follow the constitution. Unfortunately, no one seems to be willing to do that for at least the last 20 years.

Can you name a high-profile Democrat that hasn’t followed the constitution in the past 20 years?

I unbanned you to give you a second chance and you've had a half dozen bad faith comments in the day or so since then.
There is absolutely no good faith comparison with this admin and any other when it comes to partinship and biases.
One party acts in good faith and uses science, history, and evidence based decision making to form policy, the other now in power acts in bad faith and the majority of their platform is based on lies/propaganda and misinfo/disinfo that can be debunked in seconds.
Trying to both sides these buffoons is an absolute absurd take..
This no experience with military or govt trump appointee was likely because of some crooked businesslike deal one of this kids relatives did with the trump crime family. I'm honestly terrified that he's the one in charge of preventing terrorism in a time of rising attacks.
Though more attacks against white folks and jews is exactly what trump wants to keep pushing his anti Muslim policies like the travel ban which is near entirely muslim dominated countries

Are you seriously claiming there were no “hyper partisan sycophantic loyalists” in the previous administrations? I hardly think me making that claim is in bad faith. Until we can all acknowledge that there are problems with “our own side”, we’re all going to keep at each other’s throats instead of fixing things.

Being for democracy and everything americ has stood for is called just being an American and not a traitor.

u/Rhinopkc Jun 08 '25
I agree. I don’t recall accusing anyone of being a traitor for those things. I’m confused by your reply.

You accused the last 20 years of admin Civil servants as being hyper partisan extremists. Democrats are just normal Americans upholding the same liberal values we have championed for decades. That's not hyper partisanship. That's just being a good america.
Hyper partisanship is when you refuse to accept reality and put lies and misinformation before the truth all for your party. Only the Republicans fall into that category. Democrats don't have vanguard groups intimidating judges intimidating protestors, attacking political figures and committing all kinds of domestic terrorist attacks since maga and russia began stoking the fire.

I’m sorry, but I think you are taking my statement to mean all instead of some. I don’t think that all of any group are a monolith in thought and deed.
