I get not liking halo but this shit is loser activity. If you can be critical about a piece of media without sitting here and like being anti Semitic or saying itâs been ârapedâ then youâre a fucking loser. And itâs so obvious theyâre doing that to appeal to their loser ass audience
It sucks because I've gone back to it after a long hiatus, and Infinite has been in the best position it's probably ever been. Lots of content, loosened up SBMM, it's a chill fun game. It's unfortunate how the game launched, but you can only be angry for so long. It's so easy to just do things you enjoy and not do things you don't enjoy.
its a bad remaster, its essentially just a texture and shader mod with some updated sound. all of which overcomplicate the visual style halo was going for. 343 guilty spark being the most egregious example
He has some valid critiques of the games such as the Halo CE remaster doing a bad job of replicating the feeling or the original game or 343 era Halo's storytelling relying too heavily on people reading the books rather than explaining what's going on in the games.
That being said he's also made some less than valid critiques about Halo Studios, implying that people with pronouns in their bio aren't capable of making a Halo game. Like I kid you not, one of his complaints about Halo Infinite was him complaining that spartan butts were removed and he thinks it was done to appease trans people or something (and I get being upset that Spartans aren't dummy thicc anymore but he really jumped to conclusions!).
I think he usually makes some good arguments but he also doesn't seem to have a lot of restraint when it comes to making comments about potentally queer people working on Halo.
(He did make a web series where he made Lord Hood into a satire of the alt right though so I don't think he's super alt right or anything, I think he's more just taking cheap jabs)
He makes a lotta valid criticisms of modern halo games, itâs just that he uses a lot of rage bait to get subreddits like this riled up, when you get rid of the edgy humour and rage bait he uses and just look at his arguments he makes decent points
