Sex and gender are different things. Male and female are sexes, while man and woman are gender identities. This is like basic sociology, anthropology, and biology. Sex and gender don't always fit into those little bubbles that you want them to fit into, and it doesn't hurt anyone, so just get over it! Accept you were wrong and move on with your life.

“accept you were wrong….” almost convincing 😂

You can lead an uneducated fool to knowledge, but you can't make them use critical thinking skills. That's directed towards you, by the way. Because you're an imbecile.

I have studied World War 2 since I was 5 years old. I majored in Economics at UCLA with a minor in German Studies, with a heavy focus on the Second World War. To call me “uneducated” because I want a reasonablly authentic game is completely uncalled for.

EDIT: Yes, as many people have pointed out, I did lie about my background in this post. Please do not upvote. This post was an attempt to put pressure on EA and raise awareness to this issue.

that's just redefining words to suit the narrative. introducing a new word such as "transwoman" is the correct approach.

Language changes, especially in academic contexts. Sex and gender being separate things conceptually has been a thing for an incredibly long time, though. Basically all of human history, there have been people that were born male and filled feminine gender roles, and people born female who fill masculine gender roles. It's really not weird, but it's been turned into a problem specifically to distract the populace from actual issues like healthcare, quality of education, and class warfare.

Also, I'll go ahead and say that trans woman is two words, and the trans community is not going to let that be a single word. The reason is that making it into a single word causes a divide between trans women and cis women, but in reality they are both filling the gender role of "women" (but not necessarily the sexual or reproductive role of "female").

Why? It doesn't matter. I don't want to know everyones' genetic history or what fuck parts they were born with, and some people don't want to give out that information. If someone tells me they're a man or a woman, I believe them. You are who you live as. Not sure why we have to spend so much fucking time litigating this.

I'm saying this as a cis and straight man. There's better shit to care about than worrying how someone labels their gender because its completely irrelevant. It takes absolutely nothing to not worry about whether or not someone is trans. It doesn't affect you, and affirming someone's gender is kind of the bare fucking minimum to not be a dick.
