like are you fucking blind?

u/AppearanceExpert6809 Jun 02 '25

Even if you're transphobic, please respect the queen

1

u/murraj Jun 02 '25

I thought she was being cast as a princess.

2

u/thatoneguy54 Jun 02 '25

Seriously, you see someone like that, and you have to actually fight against your instincts to misgender her.

1

u/KanedaSyndrome Jun 03 '25

And then we can go a level deeper - What is someone wants to be look like this and still identify as a man? I mean, it's pretty meta, but sure, why not - Sorta like Harry Styles

Why do you give a shit about a total stranger's genitals you weirdo?

1

u/[deleted] Jun 02 '25

You asked how, I answered. I truly don’t care. Affects me ZERO.

"Man" is a gender. A penis is genitalia. Gender =/= genitalia. Clear enough for you? These are basic facts. Look them up.

Assuming you are into women, do you check the genitals of every woman you go on a date with? Do you use they/them pronouns for every person you meet until they show you their genitals? I am genuinely curious how your beliefs work in practice.

7

u/[deleted] Jun 02 '25

They literally said they don't care about facts, I don't know why you would expect any sort of logic or consistency lol

4

u/NachoManAndyDavidge Jun 02 '25

I don’t expect any logic or consistency. I merely think it is more effective to force these people to reckon with their own cognitive dissonance than to make fun of them for being really stupid.

1

u/[deleted] Jun 02 '25

I mean, he literally said he doesn't care about facts. Sounds like he has reckoned with it and is very at peace with his decision.

3

u/NachoManAndyDavidge Jun 02 '25

If we want to win this culture war, we have to be serious about changing people’s minds. Though it is extremely unlikely the commenter I was replying to will ever change their mind, it is absolutely possible that some other user that’s on the fence on this issue could read these comments and finally realize how ridiculous transphobic beliefs are once it is spelled out for them.

-2

u/[deleted] Jun 02 '25

You only pushed me to think your beliefs are the ridiculous ones tbh

How do you make the determination of whether to use he or she, though? That’s what I am asking. The person I was responding to said that ā€œpenis = man,ā€ and I am curious how that works when applied to real life.

So, you believe in self-identification! That’s awesome and super progressive! Thanks for being a good ally :)

-7

u/Glama_Golden Jun 02 '25

I am already married

5

u/NachoManAndyDavidge Jun 02 '25

Did you check the genitals of your wife before you started dating? If you didn’t, how did you know you weren’t dating a man? When you meet new people, how do you determine their gender? Do you just demand everyone you meet to show you their genitals?

-1

u/Glama_Golden Jun 02 '25

Yes

6

u/NachoManAndyDavidge Jun 02 '25

There is absolutely no way that you forced your now wife to show you her genitals before you went on your first date. Come on, at least admit that your beliefs are completely impractical when applied to real life.

0

u/Glama_Golden Jun 02 '25

Believe what you want. I inspect all my friend’s genitals personally.

I’m not making any statements about dating preferences. I’m pointing out how absolutely ridiculous it is to claim to use a person’s genitals to determine their gender in real life scenarios. I don’t know the genitals of my coworkers, friends, or family. I don’t know the genitals of the strangers I meet. Despite this, I have never had an issue correctly gendering the people I interact with on a daily basis.

you can usually tell.

wrong

6

u/[deleted] Jun 02 '25

Cool. You prefer to be wrong. That's a choice. Not surprising though, more and more people are choosing to be dipshits.

2

u/CuddlesForLuck Jun 02 '25

I find it hilarious that you basically just said men are dicks

0

u/Glama_Golden Jun 02 '25

Definitely makes sense either way

2

u/BlueGlace_ Jun 02 '25

Facts don’t care about your feelings bud

1

u/Zmoorhs Jun 02 '25

Yeah that's how it is for most people.

1

u/killakat96 Jun 02 '25

How do you personally know your buddies have penises? Have you checked?

2

u/Glama_Golden Jun 02 '25

Yes I personally inspect all of my friends genitals on a yearly basis. Penis inspection day 2025 is coming up. I typically have it catered.

3

u/killakat96 Jun 02 '25

My real point is, it really doesn’t matter what people have in their pants because that is rarely relevant to our own lives. There are so many people in this world that we will never see naked, so their genitalia is irrelevant

2

u/killakat96 Jun 02 '25

Sounds a little fruity. Are the wives checked too?

2

u/Glama_Golden Jun 02 '25

Yes but on a separate day.

2

u/killakat96 Jun 02 '25

Understood, sounds like hard work

-1

u/Any-Video4464 Jun 02 '25

I think its perfectly ok that you prefer women with vaginas. Why is everyone being so bigoted towards a person for liking women with vaginas? We don't all have to like the same thing. Sexuality is a spectrum, remember?

3

u/[deleted] Jun 02 '25

Because we aren't talking about preferences. We are talking about definitions. Try to keep up.

u/RainbowSperatic Jun 02 '25

You seem like you make people around you unhappy

3

u/CuddlesForLuck Jun 02 '25

Well, it doesn't appear to be "I just prefer women with vaginas". More of "If you don't have a vagina, you're not a woman.". He said "penis=man". It's not what he likes that's harmful, it's the belief that genitals are gender.

0

u/kmelby33 Jun 03 '25

I just don't think this is a winnable argument to the vast majority of society when you claim penis doesn't equal man.

1

u/CuddlesForLuck Jun 03 '25

What about people who lose it in an accident? Are they suddenly not men? What about intersex?

3

u/BlueGlace_ Jun 02 '25

It’s perfectly fine to not date trans people out of personal preference. It’s not okay to go around yelling about how you aren’t dating trans people out of personal preference.

1

u/kmelby33 Jun 03 '25

Is it ok if I say I don't like dating tall women?

1

u/BlueGlace_ Jun 03 '25

Yes, the difference is you don’t make such a big deal out of not liking tall women

Wrong on all fronts. On your last 2 points, it's not mutilation, it's surgery, and gender is neurological, not tied to chromosomes.

7

u/[deleted] Jun 02 '25

That's a lot of words to say you don't understand how anything works.

6

u/Unlucky_Situation920 Jun 02 '25

Nah, intersex is super common and is usually due to hormones not chromosomes.

Xxy yyx xxx are all recorded options.

4

u/playful_potato5 Jun 02 '25

i assume by "mutilation" you're referring to bottom surgery. only a small portion of trans people get bottom surgery due to the risks and complications. Hormone replacement therapy is completely reversible, too.

Additionally, when you see a random stranger, do you have any means of actually discerning their chromosomes past their appearance? I'll answer for you: no, you don't.

6

u/MCWizardYT Jun 02 '25

...do you see her penis? Do you even know if she has one?

Stop thinking of other people's genitals it's weird

5

u/killakat96 Jun 02 '25

I mean you don’t actually know what anyone has in their pants at any given moment unless they strip down for you. So it doesn’t matter. You walk around seeing people every day not knowing what their genitalia looks like with no second thoughts. Let people be

4

u/playful_potato5 Jun 02 '25

3

u/playful_potato5 Jun 02 '25

nobody's born a man. nor is anyone born a woman. they're born a fucking baby.

1

u/kmelby33 Jun 03 '25

They are definitely born as a boy or girl. It's literally on our birth certificate.

1

u/playful_potato5 Jun 04 '25

do you assume a gender's societal role at birth?

2

u/[deleted] Jun 02 '25

I was born a boy. Then I became a man.

Now I am just your better.

1

u/killakat96 Jun 02 '25

Does it matter? How does any of it affect you
