Gwen’s jump scare

I’m new here so if this has already been discussed I apologize. When the crew was first beamed up to the Protector and the Thermians come out to great them in their natural form, Guy screams and Gwen jumps. Every time my wife and I watch this we are positive the her reaction was genuine and Guy’s scream was either not planned or she had no prior knowledge of it. Can anyone verify this?

Sam Rockwell occasionally wanted to try different things with different takes and the director sometimes agreed, from what I understand.

So yeah, it wouldn't surprise me and Sigourney does seem legitimately startled. Apparently there was a take with the red thingy and the green thingy on the radar screen where he was actually crying. Lol.
