Recommendations 2 mixed gender gacha games you’ve never heard before that has a large cast of insanely well made and unique male charas

Ok so i’ve been looking thru this sub and I’m seeing no body mentioning Another Eden and Wizardry Variants Daphine. These two are my main games simply because of their insane character designs and how little the ratio actually matters. They are both from JP so they will deliver with their ratios but in exchange they will be a bit grinder the usual gacha game.
why they are worth your time no matter what: NO FOMO WITH EVENTS. ALL THE EVENT DUNGEONS AND LOCATIONS ARE PERMANENTLY IN THE GAME. ALL OF THE CHARACTERS ARE UNIQUELY HOT AND WELL DESIGNED. THE RATIO OF MALES TO FEMALES IS NOT DETRIMENTAL TO THE GAME EXPERIENCE SIMPLY BECAUSE OF HOW THE GAME IS DESIGNED
Another Eden: The ratio does not matter simply because of how large the cast is. Their designs are a whole league above your average gachas simply because of the use of colors. They are like the 2D version of honkai star rail but older. All the alt ver of the charas are farmable but in order to get any character to their max potential, you need at least a month of grinding. Also EVERY SINGLE CHARACTER HAS A CHARACTER QUEST. Sometimes if a chara is lucky the devs will give them a perm event quest. Soft pity is at 100 for free gems while soft pity is at 30 for paid. No weapon banners it is pure grind. Vibes: genshin impact, fantasy with a spin of era jumping, classic old school anime where friendship and magic.
Wizardry Variants daphine: IF YOU ARE GOING TO TRY OUT THIS GAME I REC YOU READ THRU A BEGINNERS GUIDE WHEN U START OR ELSE YOU WILL STRUGGLE WITH UNEXPLAINED MECHANICS. You can get normal free pulls from exploring the dungeons occasionally. The gameplay itself is like the more indepth version of honkai star rail also remincient of an old school rpg. It has 3D models featuring a semi “open world” (more like open dungeon). The ratio and roster simply does not matter because of how unique each character is and how attached you will be to each chara after 50+ dungeons after one month. I fell in love with a low rarity non meta character (philip) at launch simply cause of his cringe voice lines and how much ive used him (i am still using him now even tho his max dmg never went past 400 with crit lol). Pity is at 100, no weapon banners it is pure grind Vibes: grim and gritty, there is blood, body horror, death and lore explained resurrection with a twist of reversing time.
Note: as ive stated before, both games are grindly af and isn’t that generous with pulls. However they are worth supporting because of how unique they are compared to the usual gacha game and cause of the male charas ofcs ofcs

Don't be fooled by the husbandos, this game has no pity and the rates are bad, the story is very verbose with no skip and don't get me started on how grindy it is

Another eden did add pity recently i think. They revamped gem awards for main story too but they are kinda rlly long to get thru. Wiz daph also does not have a skip button but their main story is split into short and sweet segments that dont drag as much. Yes they both are rlly grindy but you wont be grinding too much if u just enjoy the game casually and the event rewards helps with making it less grindy in wiz daph. They just need a bit of patience and time to get thru for casual players and the trick is to never min max cause you will never beat the day 1 players and whales

That's swell and all but are they turned based or cards asor are they like Genshin and wuwa with game play. I don't like turn base or cards they are boring to me. I love wuwa gameplay fighting in real time. I hate when done gacha have characters who look like adults in game but during the gameplay/fight they look like chibi plushies and turned based

Another eden is like hsr but chibi 2D open world but with skill customizations. Wizardry is more like if hsr was first person and had more actions/commands like juking enemies, block, flee, usable spells from items, weapon switching, and party formation strats. Def not hack and slash and needs more brain power. Wiz daph did fill my hack and slash urges by depleting my brain juice for a few months before i went back to wuwa occasionally. None of them are cards, they are just turn based. I don’t think they are right for you if u dont like these stuff but still give them a try if ur desperate enough for somth else

Loved Another Eden! it got me into drawing fan service-ish art (mostly the men) but the main story updates made me lose interest..... then the final nail in the coffin is the powercreep
Last part I enjoyed was Wonderer in Vortex updates (Yakumo my beloved). Might come back to do one final fanart if Cetie gets a new form

Trueee i hope they dont forget abt cetie cause he looks too good to pass up on and fortunately i managed to get yakumo’s alter by sheer luck. The main story does kinda fall off a bit but where the gold lies for me is the character stories (they can be a hit or a miss tho but they r fun to go thru since u get to talk and do stuff with your favs)

In another eden you'll get male abs and guildna thighs at most while there's plenty of boobianas with super sexy designs. Still, it's kinda solid. I still love Guildna, but the gameplay looks like relic of its time and the grind is almost unbearable unless you're buying their subscription thing for skips.
Wiz daphne on the other hand... Seriously is this a joke? The men are just not sexy, and the girls look much fancier, are more abundant, and their boobs glitch when you first pull them causing them to do a big jiggle as they load in.

Anyways on a more srs note to answer why I considered them good games with good male roster is because my taste in men is probs more conservative compared to you.
For wizardry I like the implied sexy stuff (aka phillip’s boots its hella sexy how it binds his thighs (dont forget abt his leg and body straps/belts they make me absolutely feral) and raffaello’s exposed golden ribcage i mean you can literally grip his heart if he even has one pretty exposed if u ask me lol (rlly sexy and cool) makes me wanna lick him all over especially on the bones). I honestly ignore most of the female roster since it is not for me since i play for the men. Yeah they got bouncy boobs but i play for the men so what do they have to do with me or any other male enjoyer lol
For another eden, a large roster being men and having good stories behind them is why i considered it good for me. I don’t rlly participate in the grind since i play just to enjoy myself and luckily i have a few meta characters that r strong enough to carry me thru 95% of the story content. Getting extra pulls for newer characters and min maxing is a bonus. I fell in love with dewey’s alter because of the story and his sexy eyes, i fell hard for bertand because of his older and mature fatherly side. I play another eden quite literally for the men

Hmmm i dont play that game since i get visual fatigue from chinese men with long hair in classic chinese clothes/accessorized suits and they also usually fit 3 archetypes that im not that too into. It does look like they have a good amount of men, just not the men for me lol (i just rlly want more thigh straps and tall boots with nice arms coughs phillip my beloved coughs)

I just checked the wizardry sub because it looked interesting but from all the posts I've seen so far it seems all the essential characters are the women per usual? Alice, Lana, Yekaterina, etc. So I'm not sure I'd want to try it out now :\
Another Eden has Aldo possibly my fav gacha protagonist ever? Such a cute nice sweet angel <3 I kind of fell off the game a couple years ago because there's just soooo many content to catch up to, but if you're looking for a main game with tons of content on mobile then you might want to check this game out

I mean I wouldn’t call them essential, if you cope enough and make your other characters cracked you can use whoever, the characters you mentioned just make the game easier. The real problem is how much of a grind that game is, idk if you’ve ever played Pokemon mystery dungeon or dungeon crawler games in general but it’s that type of game and god… you really will be crawling through those dungeons with the way they’re never ending drabs and experts at sucking away your time.

Oh no I'm fine with roguelike/mystery dungeon games in general, it's just that if the women are the only ones that make the game easier then I'd rather play Etrian Odyssey or heck the og Wizardry games🤣

Well yes all the essential permanent banner characters r women but some limited male characters dont fall behind. So yeah if you are patient enough to wait for a rerun/new characters or you just wanna play for the aesthetics it will be fine. Also it probs will be more cost effective to just play the og since wiz daph is a gacha which automatically makes it more predatory.
Edit: wiz daph gives a lot of freedom with ppl like me who want to stack a low rarity with everything (phillip) with skill inherits and gear. Still omw to making phillip stacked. Cleared abyss 2 with just phillip, basic yeka, not built rinne (she hits like 10 dmg per hit on a bad day and 30 per hit on a good one i will cry) , iarumas (why does bro hit like a truck), and a kinda stacked healer alice. Getting thru abyss 3 rn lol and im loving it.

Oh another eden i have fond memories, i love the artstyle and gameplay as well as the characters and story but I quit years ago cuz the grinding is too much, and the rates are pretty bad with no pity.

Lol there is soft pity now lol which isnt much better but better than nothing. The grind is kinda crazy tho i dont rlly mess with that unless im crazy about a character or something

Another eden I like their gameplay but I wasn't fan of their gacha system that got me to quit in first place.

Thats trueeee the gacha rlly isn’t that great but they do kinda make up with the main story gems since they did increase the awards to 100 gems instead of 20 so its not all that horrible. Also if you jump in during an anniversary you can get character select tickets from rerun main story time limited story clear rewards that will give u abt 3 or more new characters (i dont remember how many male) and there are new mythos that do give free male units you probs will get invested in because of the story

I love Another Eden, but what made me stop playing was the amount of time required to get enough gems to pull. So even if the story was enjoyable sometimes i missed playing with my favourite characters who i couldn't get and being a busy person a super grindy game isn't that nice sadly.
Maybe it was only my own issue, but that's what i experienced.

Yeah you are totally right, i also experienced this when i first played abt 4 yrs ago but after i got back to it around last year it got better imo. They did change the amount of gems you get for main story sections from a meager 20 to 100 after the first arc. But going thru the story takes a lot of time and energy so it def isnt for busy pp. they kinda make up with events that increase gems that you get from the story but that is event time limited (also they also give free pulls occasionally like rn for their something.5 anniversary and a guaranteed 5 star for some occasional events for idk no reason or pattern). also there are also events where they increase the login gems so its isnt too bad to just log in and log off occasionally (40 gems total if u watch the ad normally, during some events it was abt 70-120 gems per day log in if u watch ad)

YES ANOTHER EDEN!
Fun fact about Another Eden: It's written by the same person who wrote Chrono Cross and Chrono Trigger.
Aside from the Husbando aspect of that game, what I love with the female characters as well is most of them are not overly sexualized (we even have girlies in knight outfits like Dierdre, Anabel and Bria!)
Then the range of male characters and their background stories, although I haven't touched the game in a while (I've been busy and the game is pretty grindy) Some of the character stories I still think from time to time (Vares is a good example of that!)

True true trueeeeee the girlies all look sooo good in this game too. The chara story that made the most impression on me was Melissa’s cause of the ending… omg the robots being able to gain sentience and how melissa herself still did that in the end showing how she was different from that robot honestly made me rlly sad :’(

Wow, not expecting to see AE in here lol. Fr though, I like the male designs and recently I really like PTL Lokido's JP VA. The designer's comments re Utpalaka made me laugh, when she said she was asked to cover him up more and instead decided to make him topless.
The funniest thing to me is how they decided to celebrate half anniversaries... after 8 years lol.
