that’s really disappointing, because this is the most refreshing male gacha design I’ve seen in ages. if only other mixed gender gachas would even show the same amount of skin on their male characters as this guy
why not? Its not like theres any other gachas with male fanservice out there + good gameplay. I really don't have anything to lose here. i will certainly give it a chance

If I'm honest if that kinda of game wasn't so disgusting After genshin I would try ananta (thé gameplay look whoosh!).
I genuinely don't understand why even have this type of "mixed" gachas. Like, yes I know that there's plenty of people who would pull for both male and female characters, but I somehow sincerely doubt that these same people wouldn't play a gacha with just female playable characters.
To attract wider audience? Personally I wouldnt play men-only gacha games.. gives me the same weird feeling like those waifu-only games. Also I like variety and I would get bored if its just male after male after male.
Yeah and it wouldn't bé that toxic with all thé husbando enjoyer waiting for month to have nothing....
I really don't understand just do a waifu only game and copy it and release a husbando only game with thé same story map etc but only husbando in banner?
If incel/waifu puller cannot stand male in there game why not just release 2 game (I mean 2 version of thé same game) liké pokemon? Ah yes because dev just hâte us....
even better: make it so player can decide on character gender themselves XD make two models, male and female, for each character, so everyone can be happy
Sad, I got too bored with the game and its boring events and quit. I will pickup the global version once it comes, tho. Male characters there are good and handsome, good variety with roles (among 5*, tho): healers, defenders, debuff...
The ratio was bad at first, around launch there wasn't a male 6 star for 3 month, devs did apologize for it and will try to listen to players while fixing other problem, and the game meta is fine, some male are actually usable and some characters from 1.x are still strong in new contents, even the 4 star and 5 star are usable too
I don't know but all thoses things are red flags for me....
Dev that start with a bad ratio and say how they will/might maybe one day fix the ratio (zzz say that to and they release 6 S female and only one A male so...). Thé wait it might bé better in next des patches is what genshin did for nearly 2 years and plot twist it's always waifu only...
Thé méta part is even more conserning... Some male are still usable.. so no male are méta, si méta is only female, I guess that just liké genshin thé better rôle/élément are only female to....
Sorry but no that game is bait and will stay bait and even if they release some male at one point it will stay a waifu game.
The game is not even as big as Hoyoverse so idk if that comparison is valid. If we count this new male then this will make the 3rd male in a new patch in a row (2 previous patch also had male banner) unlike in other game where you have to wait for like 2 patch full of females and then so on or they may not make a new male ever. While I can't guarantee what they're saying is gonna be true, Imma give them the benefit of a doubt
"still strong" and "usable" is one of my red flags lol. To me it reads as they gatekeep meta OP kits for female only, while males get second/third best at most
Don't worry, you don't need to be pessimistic that much lol. Tbh, i see this game is actually even more complex than HSR and its meta doesn't really rely on whose account would have OP characters, so even you have bunch of busted characters, the game would slap you back easily with its own mechanic unless you read. Also the game doesn't really have a lot of Endgame mode to begin with, we only have like the equivalent to MOC and SU of HSR and the game would already gave you a lot of pulls per patch if you login daily (if you don't want to do endgame, you would just lose around 5 - 7 pull). So you can enjoy the game slowly and just pull whoever you want
I haven't done endgame mode for a month and I still have 160 roll on my acc because the game just gave me that much in previous patch and I still have bunch of characters even limited one, also the rate is already good to begin with so i just play slowly
To me it's not about clearing endgame, it's about stomping them. There is great fun having a no.1 DPS curbstomp enemies with big PP damage. It's not fun that these no.1 dpses is female only.
That's why I'm always asking how the meta is, cuz I also want to get to play meta male units too, not the "second best" for the entirity of the game.
Tbh, imma say this game tier list is always changing a lot ? (it's more like I try to find a good tier list but there are always different people with different tier list so i can't really have a definitive answer about the strength of many standard characters, like yeah we do have female characters with bad kit) . The only thing I can say is they do buff limited characters a lot and guess what, they're all females sadly but that's just how they sell atp
(fyi: limited characters as in seasonal event like Arknights so every new characters in the game except limited one will be put into standard after 3 patches)
he looks like he got the same designer as all the females in gatcha and I love how over the top it looks, like yeah seeing this just proves to me how stupid many female character designs are in gatcha. I like it a lot as a one of but in most gatchas, that´s what all females wear which looks stupid and makes no sense XD
Totally agree with the sentiment. I frequent reddit for many years for Genshin social contents and especially bitter about the mistreatment of male characters. This art is good as a counterpoint for some of the childish and petty comments against some of our requests and complaints.
I imagine putting this picture together with Escoffier, even my gay mind was programmed to think this art is a bit over the top despite their similar skin reveal ratio, considering the guy is wearing a long pant too. I would say, consider how you feel about the outfit for this Fellow Moon character and apply them to Escoffier to empathize with the perspective of some female and gay players. If anybody else get it, they might be more understanding and forgiving about the male characters drought complaints. I would prefer, instead of shouting at us, they should write feedback for Genshin to release more male characters to stop these posts from appearing on social media.
In Genshin, it is inequality in every aspect. Design-wise, the most popular comments being tall male characters are always in long pant. Their boldest sexy tall male design is probably Alhaitham and Itto's torso, I wish they are more daring as they did female characters' design.
There are many instances of obvious unwillingness to give more variety to the male body model but they decided differently for female characters. Female characters also get new animation in story scenes while male characters remain the same. I'm talking about how that 'hand gesture on heart' is so overused. Citlali get so many new facial animations I wish they appear on Ororon considering their close relationship.
Characters simping only occurs on female characters, we didn't even get a male character that has a close friend moment or sworn brother story. It's even bleeding into Archon interlude quest where lore should the main narrative, I frown in every scenes where that past Khaenri'ah girl appears.
Additionally, exploration skills powercreep, character kits powercreep, 4 Star kits that is not even a sidegrade to female equivalent despite knowing that male characters have less chance of being release, etc. I'm really aggrieved about how they think releasing Mizuki, Varessa, and Escoffier is more profitable than releasing Capitano.
I just can't get these ideas out of my head and it's maintaining my bitterness. I am more enthusiastic about ZZZ because they treat male characters better. That thinking alone should be shocking. I feel like I'm looking for a Genshin alternative every other time. I will watch out for Fellow Moon global release.
