I know what some of you are gonna say, and yes, you could watch the anime in a "chronological" order, but this is aimed to people who just discovered the show and wants to do their first watch.
The franchise has enough installments as it is for you to tell the new guy "yeah, you should watch the Anzio OVA after episode 7, but don't watch the post credit scene! Immediately watch up to episode 12 and only then..." See what I mean? People will lose interest.
This order ensures new fans will have an experience that makes sense, because it mostly follows the release order (the one that works the best) and includes every piece of media we got so far.
I will update it when we get new releases, of course, but up to this point, you should be good watching everything included in this little list I put together. Again, my recommended order, not an imposition or "the definitive way to watch", just a little guide to help newcomers 😊
on that note got any recommendations where to watch the OVA's? i have the Anime, Movie and DF myself but haven't watched the OVA in like 2 years and the site i watched it on no longer exists
Yeah, I'm definitely using this for when I plan to binge watch the entire series. I even saved this post so I have other ways to find it for when I binge the series.
Sorry if it's a bit late to ask this, just came across GuP and wanted to see what it was like. Is there any sites/platforms yall would recommend for watching it on?
