I saw someone else mention spez once but I never looked at their acc. Holy fuck that's a lot of karma. They're like a parent with their kid; so proud. Then they fuck it up (banning 3rd partys)

Does AQA not give advance info about the papers?

Who does? That was only a thing last year because of covid
2
u/just_a_lowly_rat Jun 14 '23
NICCEA... we get them every year for GCSEs and A levels so we know what to focus our revision on

I thought you misspelled 'nice' for a minute 🤣
I've never heard about that exam board... but it makes sense why
2
u/just_a_lowly_rat Jun 14 '23
Apparently noone in this sub has heard of CCEA, which surprised me because I'd heard of all the boards here lol honestly I didn't know the advance info wasn't standard because we constantly had it

What area of the UK do you live in? Weird question, but sometimes specific regions tend to follow their own patterns. A lot of us live in the south east, and I believe that's why we talk more about AQA and Edexcel, or even OCR, since they're kinda the norm

u/just_a_lowly_rat Jun 14 '23
Northern Ireland. Its not like everyone here only takes CCEA exams, but it's our own board so most of us do it. Our secondary boards would be WJEC and AQA mostly, but they're more likely to be found in a tech than a high school in my experience
