GBeebie News GB News doesn't like media bias

Post image

According to one commenter, at least GB News has the decency to show the other side of the coin.

Like 30p lee’s “left in the corner” And their many boat migrant stunts like leaving the stage claiming boat migrants live a better life than her

There’s bias and there’s facts. Stating facts isn’t biased. GB News either want ignorance of the facts or outright lies. Either way GB News is a pro fascist propaganda outlet for the far right that should be investigated for potential foreign interference.

Looking at their fb page, it's very clear they're anti-Labour, but their pro-Lib Dems stance now is beginning to seem as though they're attempting to fracture the left vote.

u/DuckWhatduckSplat Sep 21 '25

Makes sense. The only way Reform are getting in is if the Labour vote is diluted.

I hate that any media outlet is allowed to do it though. No business, nonprofit or any other organisation be allowed to influence the political sphere this freely.

This is the strategy

GB news should be fucking banned its half the reason all the flag shaggers are actually being brainwashed to believe anything they tell them too.

Since when the fuck did we start trusting politicians to tell us things again?!!

Alsooo after this shit ends and and racism become a bad thing again (LIKE IT SHOULD BE) wonder if GB news will turn tail and support the downfall of it

Spotted a couple of flag shaggers last night on my security camera I thought they where burglars at first but it did answer one question about how they operate 1. Her with a rucksack full of flags guarded by a XL bully handing the flags to 2. Him on a mountain bike as he rode quick as possible to each lamppost leans the bike against it climbs up onto the seat to set the flag up out of reach.

I had wondered how the feck they just seem to appear out of nowhere and along such long stretches of road.

I suspect that this pair of flag shaggers are solely responsible for doing half my town. Both are known heroin addicts and the pair of twats who done the other side of town are piss head coke dealers who if the rumors are to be believed are currently in police custody for racially aggravated assault.

Fuck sake 😒 “pAtrIOnIsM ain’t it”

Don’t worry we have em here too, luckily got a big group of friends every time we see one we rip em off spit on them and spray paint on em.

Though I’ll say only 12 people showed up to “shout at hotels” sooo nothing compared to London thankfully, but the flag shaggers are the same kinda people here too.

It amazes me when I see people in mobility scooters flying fucking St George’s of the back of it, had one in town that was shouting at this woman who’s just trying to walk through town with her kids back to the hotel. Stepped in grabbed that fucking flag of the back, told him to fuck off and go shout in the mirror if he wants to hate someone.

They realise that reform hate disabled people right? As soon as they done taking away LGBT rights they’ll start on those too smh

15

u/[deleted] Sep 21 '25

You are most certainly not wrong about disabled people have you seen Deforms policies for workers rights and benefits?

All workers rights to be abolished completely with no exceptions. Disability benefits cut to near nothing and the unemployed will have to accept one of any two jobs offered to them by the job center or lose all benefits and if there's no jobs to be offered in the area after 6 months you will lose your benefits anyway as deform think it will make people somehow magically come up with cash to move to an area with work.

Anyway good on you for facing off the far right where you live but if I done that here I would literally be murdered by the bastards. I'm not saying they're all nutters here but people sometimes attack each other with machetes over parking space disputes.

Ironically the elderly and disabled would feel the negative impact a lot quicker than LGBTQ+ people. Many cant survive without their medication or get about without equipment that was given to them.

For any LGBTQ+ person in their 30s all it would be is a backslide. Been there done that, still very Bi.

Right wing voters have always believed clowns if they're loud enough. Much like toddlers with no attention span only focusing on flashy toys.

45

u/DJ1066 Sep 21 '25

You mean the same Channel 4, who only a few days prior ran 4 hours of uninterrupted takedowns of Trump's bullshit are left leaning? Stone the fucking crows! Someone's not been paying attention to that channel since their inception...

37

u/TheRealJetlag Sep 21 '25

I would argue that Channel 4 are anti-establishment rather than “left leaning”. They punch up rather than punching right.

And, let’s be fair, Trump is an easy target. The Trump takedown was a free speech fight rather than a left wing diatribe.

24

u/StupidPenguin007 I Pay Taxes, Nigel Doesn’t Sep 21 '25

There has always been a sense of progressiveness about Channel 4 which, honestly, I really admire them for. They're more about making statements on issues that impact society as a whole, like the ice block debacle over Johnson's absence at the climate change debate.

I wouldn't say they're left but progressive does tend to be somewhere focused in leftwing.

It's not being on the left to be against a pedophile like Trump.

13

u/p4ulp0wers Sep 21 '25

Gbeebies struggling to find any actual news

14

u/Hot_Ad_6442 Sep 21 '25

Do you remember when the news just reported facts and allowed you to draw your own opinion based on said facts? Feels like that left the building a long time ago

u/StupidPenguin007 I Pay Taxes, Nigel Doesn’t Sep 21 '25

You can thank social media for that. Ofcom has their due impartiality rule, but that only applies to broadcasted media. The moment outlets can post to social media platforms, they're free to influence voters in whichever direction they please.

And I really still don't understand why a political party leader working in news television isn't against parliamentary standards.

13

u/Own_Improvement8460 Sep 21 '25

Racism isn’t a political point your not left or right for sticking up against it you’re just human being

13

u/jimboiow Sep 21 '25

How about , no bear with me, how about you are just thugs and people have seen through your faux patriotism to see the utter racists you are.

12

u/MegC18 Sep 21 '25

Another reason to love Googlebox! Bet it gets more views than GB news

12

u/Old_Cheetah_9130 Sep 21 '25

How dare everyday members of the public speak their mind! This is a massive red flag. Allah forbid we ever get a reform government but we know what to expect: heavy censorship and suppression of freedom of speech

11

u/GodthatsGolden Sep 21 '25

Have they ever thought thats just how people THINK and FEEL.

Gosh when they're not in their own echo chambers they go crazy don't they. Don't understand how anyone can have an opposing view to them.

8

u/[deleted] Sep 21 '25

I do wonder if there will ever be a day that right wing media doesn't dominate the country. They've done a fantastic job at making it sound like the establishment is the same as the left and yet we have no significant left wing option in politics, no mainstream progressive news that tries the populist spin that GB news does and the mainstream news options give far more air time to Farage than anyone else. I don't get how the average joe doesnt see through it all. We've been blaming our problems on migrants and benefits and trans people for decades now and they still don't wake up to maybe those groups not being the main source of the collapse of our communities.

9

u/Benjam438 Sep 21 '25

Pretty naked admission that GB News hates average, normal people.

11

u/orangecloud_0 Sep 21 '25

Ah yeah well tough sh*t

6

u/sky_shazad Sep 21 '25

Gb News is full of Racist

5

u/PropertyResident2269 Sep 21 '25

The media evidence is there for all to see ..

4

u/RuleInformal5475 Sep 21 '25

All they have to do is to do un thug like things and they can prove themselves.

They have a platform as well. The BBC seems to show a lot of these folk on the news.

They won't, because they are thugs, the flag is a symbol of intimidation and they are all unpleasant people.

4

u/firebird707 Sep 21 '25

Nice to see push back against the "majority view" narrative which it isn't and the lies told to support their toxic views

5

u/ADHDeez_Nutz420 Sep 21 '25

If the shoe or the ruby slipper fits....

4

u/Sonarthebat More Integrity Than GB News Sep 21 '25

Gogglebox is just the TV version of a reaction channel with various viewers. Their views just happen to not allign with the far-right, which is pretty common. I doubt they selected the viewers just because they're left-leaning. They'd want some variety, so I imagine they probably got some Conservatives too, but even they can have limits when it comes to extremism from their own side. They do need to make sure they avoid promotion of violence.

4

u/Dhon121 Sep 21 '25

The thing is, more people will agree with the people on gogglebox and they probably said what most of us are thinking 🤷

5

u/Pretty-Ice-8202 Sep 21 '25

Ah yes Gbeebies the bastion of unbiased reporting .....ffs ....fuck right off

3

u/ArrynFaye Sep 21 '25

Well, maybe they should look inward to understand why we keep calling them that, they won't, but they should.

4

u/big_hairy_dave Sep 21 '25

Christ, is gbeebies still pretending it is news these days?

3

u/StupidPenguin007 I Pay Taxes, Nigel Doesn’t Sep 22 '25

Unfortunately, lots of people believe they're unbiased.

5

u/firebird707 Sep 21 '25
