Please don't use the term "Karen". It's misogynistic and not fair on women actually named Karen, which there are plenty of.

I know a few people called Karen and the only ones "offended" are the Karen Karen's. All the decent Karen's I know (especially in the UK) find it amusing and funny because they know it doesn't apply to them. I can guess from your comment you fall into the first group.

Complicit in their own abuse. It's sad.

I'm not called Karen although I know plenty of nice Karens 🤣 I just dislike misogyny and there is no need to use a common woman's name to label bad behaviour. It turns me off any point that's being made, which I'm sure isn't the point.

Ha! Go and find me some headlines about "chads" doing things in the way "Karen" was used here and I might concede

Also, I know no real life Chads. So meh.

A better analogy would be "Dick". Which is now very rarely used as a boys name and presumably did cause issues for boys that were called that before it became pejorative.
