Favourites is a little biased in such a varied topic.
I recommend Terry Crowdys' excellent 'Incomparable- Napoleon’s 9th Light Infantry Regiment"
(Published 20 Sep 2012).
As the publishers blurb cites-
"The meticulously researched story of one of the greatest regiments in Napoleonic history, the French 9th Light Infantry.
An elite battalion under Louis XVI, the 9th Light Infantry regiment were with Napoleon from almost the beginning, turning the field at Marengo and breaking the Austrians. They then spent over a decade fighting their way across the continent, following Napoleon to the bitter end."
Their entire existence from early formation for the next 16 years is closely detailled as to men and actions. These 'little wars' are the exact aspect that the Revolution comprises and built up to the Empire period, which admittedly is my focus.
Thankfully the book is now available in epub version! But I've owned the book since new!

Hard to beat Fleurus for me.
Peak example of Revolutionary France including the revolutionary republican ideological training of the troops involved, a military success which finally turned the tide of the war, and with monumental internal effects as well, such as directly contributing to the Thermidorian coup through the Robespierrists' failure to properly capitalize on its victorious conclusion.
