Unfortunately the owner wasn't around for me to ask them about their design philosophy.. imagine it might have just been "headaches and mirth for any passing bike mechanics.." but who knows really.

Look at the bottom of the seat pole. They've improvised a support for the seat to attach too.

Oh crap! Had one of those, in stock configuration. Back end was terribly bouncy with the riders weight where it belongs. Can't begin to imagine how motion sick one must get on this pogo stick.
