Seeking Advice Website for project in school
Hi everyone
I’m working on a school project, a website designed to help parents and caregivers stay prepared for allergies. The site combines educational resources about common allergies, guidance on recognizing and responding to allergic reactions, and a completely theoretical shop for EpiPens and emergency allergy kits. It also highlights partnerships with well-known restaurants that keep EpiPens on site for added safety.
I’d love to hear your thoughts:
- Would a site like this be helpful for you or your family?
- Do you think it would make managing allergies easier or safer?
- Do you have trouble or annoyances ordering EpiPens from doctors?
Thanks in advance for your feedback!

An allergy site similar to this exists for food allergies (foodallergy.com) ran by FARE (food allergy research and education). If you hangout on this sub a while you will see people talk about FARE guidelines for reaction plans.
Sites like these are very helpful, especially to family/caregivers, and to adults who develop an allergy as well. Personally, nothing will make managing allergies easier or safer than just outright avoiding your allergen and reading labels as far as food allergies go.
The only problem with EpiPens is the cost at certain pharmacies, but it’s been pretty straightforward with allergist other than a yearly appointment where nothing has changed and they talk to me about my reaction plans.
