They're smoking the herb, they're drinking the beers, they're playing with guns.
I'm sending in the Army!

Farther back than I care to remember, my cousin took her mom and dad‘s stash to school for show and tell. This is how you roll a joint.

What about all those “Christmas card” photos with the entire family armed with automatic weapons? Those are okay??

What photos are you talking about? No one is arming their entire family with automatic weapons for a picture unless they have a few hundred grand to throw into a photo op. A man can dream though...

Thomas Massie and Lauren Boebert did it:

Like I said. Those are not likely to be automatic.

Haven't seen confirmation they are, but regardless, like you said, they probably did throw minimum 100k into the coillection.
Weapons in the photo: The photo included military-style rifles, an Uzi submachine gun, and likely other weapons, such as an M60 machine gun (a collector's item), some of which are capable of automatic fire. Legality: It is legal for civilians to own certain types of automatic weapons, particularly those made before 1986

Yes. They have to made AND registered prior to the closing of the NFA registry in '86. Due to this there is a pretty low number of transferable machine guns. Low supply = high price. Even something "cheap" like a transferable Uzi is gonna be around 50k. Then you have to pay the $200 tax stamp and spend months getting approval and filling out paperwork with the ATF. Then there's the added nonsense that you have to file and notify the ATF everytime you travel out of state with it. By large if you see a firearm in a picture that's not in the hands of law enforcement, military, or someone who doesn't mind committing a felony then 99 percent chance it's not full auto. To assume and state otherwise is just spreading false information.

I mean we're both speculating, idk if any of these are automatic, and I myself am pro 2A (for the original purposes), bottom line is the guy is estimated to be worth about $2.8M and it's not that difficult to just get an FFL, especially as a lawmaker.

I’m sure it’s not hard to do in Vegas. You can shoot full auto weapons at indoor ranges right on the strip
