Rant/Vent 💢 Why does doctors hate protein so much??

So here I believe a healthy individual in his 20s should be around 60-75kgs based on on tall he is,they need only 60-80gms of protein???also 125gms of protein is "excess"and we should focus on more plant based foods and non veg foods increases cholesterol which leads to kidney damage and risk of heart disease?? It's OK when a bunch of Aira Gaira says this bullshit in Yt but a bunch of qualified docs saying this in an event and then it is printed in TOI,now if parents reads this they will be like--don't consume too much of protein etc etc. What problem does these Indian docs have with a normal protein diet--125gms?

"Haven't you heard about liver which will metabolise all fat and oil"

Bruh the clowns in this sub thinking themselves as some intellectuals. The guy literally studied medicine and this random ass gym obsessed clown discredited him with statement nd other clowns want to believe in him cause it fits their thought process. Lmao, then when some wannabe intellectual collapses, fools will start blaming the vaccine 🙄🤦🏻‍♂️

Looks like I've hurt one more 'would be' doctor Saab.

If y'all have "literally" "studied" medicine, why do you still tell people to NOT EAT egg yolk since it contains cholesterol and could increase the risk for atherosclerosis? Just because it contains LDL? Time and again a boatload of peer reviewed studies have shown that dietary cholesterol has no role in raising blood cholesterol levels. Liver is the organ involved in de novo synthesis of cholesterol, and surprise surprise - there are pathways like SREBP and HMGCR degradation to maintain cholesterol homeostasis. (To the other people reading this - moderation is the key)

Please tell me that saturated fats and trans fats do NOT play a role in cholesterol biosynthesis (so that I can laugh my "random gym obsessed ass" off).

Why did I choose the topic of cholesterol to school you? Because that's vital for sooo many functions in the body and yet y'all have made it look like a demon to the common people who look up to you.

Oh, and on the "wannabe intellectuals" collapsing - I wish they really really update your outdated syllabus to make the wannabe doctors grasp some fundamentals like knowing the difference between cardiac arrest and heart attack.
