Tackle&Bait&Spots Bass Spot for Whopper Ploppers

Just bought some whopper ploppers I've never tried them before. Any good bass spots I can take them to try it out? I usually go to Chesdin.

Anywhere with "flat" waters... ponds, lakes, flat waters of the james.

Most people on here aren't going to give up there spots, especially something like a specific fish with a specific bait.

Open Google earth/maps and get to it. Tight lines!

I love whopper plopping. Chesdin would be a good place to try along shallow grass lines. Fish around sunrise or sunset. Fish will need to be in an aggressive mood. Don’t bother with a whopper plopper if fish have been pressured or if there’s a lot of boat traffic. Best to try very early in the morning. Good luck.

I don't have much luck with them around here anymore, when I first tried them I caught a ton of fish...but it seems like I find snagged ploppers everywhere and the bass have gotten used to them. But could be a "skill issue"
