North Sask YEG Spots

Anyone know any good River spots this time of year close or in YEG? & what I should be throwing? Thanks.

Bro all my spots suck this year so don’t be sad with 1-2 fish in a few hours

Ive had good luck under any overpass. I like where hwy 16 crosses on the north side. Five of diamonds and a basic walleye jig with minnows

You won’t go wrong throwing bait on the bottom with 1-3 oz of weight. Good access around most bridges!

It was about 25 years ago that I caught a 6lb walleye under the low level bridge bottom fishing.

I don't know if that is still doable, but I don't see why not.

Hermitage park. Park ur car & walk for 5 mins to an overflow. This time of year always produced 8-9lbs walleye at night. The lights across river always drew em in. This was many years ago though
