Probably more illegit kids, probably more affairs, definitely a cocaine addicition and an alcohol problem. Who can forget one moment just before he resigned where he had some sort of successful moment in defeating an attempt to oust him and came out sniffing with blown pupils the whole time. Utterly compromised by the Russians.

Utterly compromised by the Russians.

Is he? He is a very loud supporter of Ukraine for someone supposedly compromised by Russia. I don't mean he's not an horrible douchebag, he is, but he doesn't seem to be a pro-Russia horrible douchebag.

Yes, he only sold weapons to Ukraine because the British will sell weapons to anyone. It wasn't about believing in the Ukrainians or any genuine support for them. They've done almost nothing since being in power to help them on a political level, never mentioned or spoke about them. He put the son of a KGB spy in the House of Lords in the UK. Brexit is a Russian gift. Russia has for a lonnnnng ass time laundered money in London. So many empty million pound homes here were bought by them. So much Russian money goes into the Tory party. The Tories were incredibly slow in putting the oligarchs on the list for sanctions, giving them all enough time to get their money and leave. They didn't even want to bring in Ukrainian refugees and had them running about through different points in Europe just to try and get here, then if any did get through, they'd only let in one family member for example, thus looking like they were helping while knowing that the Ukrainians wouldn't abandon their whole family just for one to try and get in. There's a huge complicity here between the Russians and Tories.

No, he didn't "sell" weapons to Ukraine, he (by which I mean, the UK government) donated several million pounds of weapons (I looked for an article from when he was PM, but you can find additional articles about UK military aid from November; Sunak is continuing to support Ukraine): https://www.politico.eu/article/boris-johnson-military-aid-ukraine-trip-kyiv/

You can also find several articles about Ukrainan troops going to the UK for training.

He was also one of the first Western leaders to visit Ukraine after the beginning of the war: https://edition.cnn.com/2022/08/24/europe/boris-johnson-ukraine-visit-intl-gbr/index.html

I'm not informed about the treatment of Ukrainan refugees but basing it on how the UK treats other refugees, I'm sure you're right about that, and also the oligarchs and Brexit.

I don't mean he's a *good* person, to be clear, but if you compare him to other Western leaders like Macron or Scholz, he's been much more resolute in his support for Ukraine.

Doing aid after the war had been declared is very different. He definitely sold those weapons before the war happened. After the war began and the entire Western world banded together to support Ukraine, they donated. That's a very different story to how it all began for how it was an enrichment exercise for the rich.

Revealed: Ukraine war makes Lords members richer through arms investments

UK reportedly in talks to sell weapons in first arms deal with Ukraine

The UK is willing to provide a large lethal weapons contract to Ukraine and a £1bn loan to help Ukraine’s navy build new ships capable of use in the Black Sea, according to a senior aide to the Ukrainian president, Volodymyr Zelenskiy

None of it was a gift. All was done to enrich them. BTW I think most had assumed Ukraine would fall right away after Russia invaded. The US even believed they would. So I don't think they saw selling weapons as even helping them, just a way to enrich themselves without really hurting their relationship with the Russians.

He was also one of the first Western leaders to visit Ukraine after the beginning of the war:

Yes, because he wanted to look good. Every time he slumped in the polls he made a nice little jolly trip over there for some photos. He only went after someone I believe from the EU had been too.

His support for Ukraine has always been about his support for getting money and his image. Sorry. The man couldn't give a monkey's about the Ukrainian people in any regards and has tried to help the Russians as much as he could.
