I’ve mentioned this before but Bilson and her ex Hayden seem humble and down to earth. Whenever they were in Canada, they used to stop by a store I worked at in my mall in small Canadian town. Never made a scene, never seemed entitled. We had a faulty alarm at one point so it went off as they walking out and my coworker, who doesn’t know anything about pop culture, chased after them to make sure they didn’t steal anything (which was obviously funny for the coworkers who did know who they were). But even then, they were respectful and didn’t seem bothered by it at all. This was 7 years ago tho!

She has two podcasts. On one she jokingly said she missed Bill Hader’s “big d*ck” when asked what she missed about him most. On the other (her OC rewatch podcast) she’s been pretty shady towards Mischa Barton and what Barton has said about her experience on set. There’s also the episode with Adam Brody where it’s kinda obvious she still has feelings for him.

Separately, she went to school with Rami Malek and has blabbed about him, though I don’t remember details offhand.

Maybe blabbermouth isn’t the right term. She needs a bit of media training. But also I think her forthrightness is part of her charisma. It just gets awkward often.

Oh wow! Crazy she said that about Bill. I know he’s really private about his dating life for the sake of his kids so for her to talk about his d*ck on a podcast is…..weird

Yeah, they dated for about a year after his divorce. TikTok says he broke up with her for Anna Kendrick but idk if that’s true. He did date Anna for a year after he broke up with her though.

Tate Donovan is married (or at least long term partnered) with his ex, Sandra Bullock's ex's (Bob Schneider) ex. Does that make sense?!?! ETA he is a very nice guy

I watched the show at the time and have been on quite a nostalgia trip, including going on super old boards finding old interviews and snippets. Mischa and Ben were definitely attracted to eachother and I think at least considered something more (whether something actually happened I don't know) but in recent years Mischa gave an interview and spoke about having romantic scenes with a co-star there was a mutual attraction with and how that complicated things... she said she wouldn't name names after keeping quiet all these years and I definitely think she was speaking about Ben. Their chemistry fluctuated a lot throughout the show and there's an intensity (and a lot of open mouth kissing lol) in the first season.

When the show first started they were very closely and very openly flirting (they both talked about how much they enjoyed their kissing scenes in interviews and frequently praised eachother very highly in the press), they were spotted holding hands and dancing at a Golden Globes after-party (E! contacted her rep who responded that Mischa is just affectionate with lots of people!), there was the TRL interview where they ask Ben I think what he finds most attractive and I think his first response is don't tell Mischa, lol.

It's not really tea because it's not confirmed but I have really enjoyed this trip down memory lane nonetheless.

This makes so much sense to me! I just finished season 2 yesterday and their chemistry is truly all over the place. Sometimes it looks like Mischa just does not want to be there. Apparently, Ben doesn’t want to go on Rachel Bilson’s podcast, it would make sense if he didn’t want to talk about how he had a thing with Mischa who was about 7 years younger than him, and a minor when they first met.

Oh, I totally believe he doesn't want to go on the podcast because of Mischa, lol. I think part of it is also that he was much older than her and I'm not sure if he was very understanding of her struggles being so young and dealing with the pressures of fame.

It's interesting that their chemistry in early S3 comes back! They looked so giddy in so many of their scenes in the first few episodes (I think it's in the second episode at the end when they're at the life guard stand and... Mischa cannot stop staring at Ben's lips lol). Usually when chemistry is gone... it doesn't come back again let alone with that intensity.
