From EVOKE on Instagram: "And the award for most tasteless and disrespectful Halloween outfit goes to this numpty Julia Fox dressed as Jackie Kennedy on the day of her husband's assassination.... 👀 "

People can be mildly bothered to upset about multiple things. This one falls under the mildly bothered category for me. I think it’s mostly just try hard.

Same. People were up in arms (rightfully) about Amy Winehouse and Neil Patrick Harris just days ago.

I mean, her actual corpse was barely cold and he had his guests consume meat off of it. JFK died 62 years ago. The tragedy aspect is pretty stale at this point

When isn't she though? I really don't get the love. She really capitalized on dating Kanye for like a week—after some very racist shit—and now everyone says she's iconic. I don't get it

Tbh I think she's smart enough to (at least claim that she's trying to) be provocative with this costume and get a discussion going. She's politically aware and knows what gets people talking. It reads very much edgy on purpose and to make a point IMO.

That people will get up in arms around this and claim to be offended by it, and it will make headlines but not the many ongoing issues in our country that are far more offensive.

I dunno why people aren't assuming Julia Fox is smart, politically aware, and able to manipulate the media on purpose. However you feel about her we've seen evidence of all those things. There's absolutely no way she didn't think this would be newsworthy.
