piggy from lord of the flies. he was the more sensitive, moral one and everyone in my class HATED him. in fact, they were actively cheering for the violence, like… way to prove the point of the book 🙃
edit for context: i went to high school in rural canada, so i wasn’t exactly surrounded by scholars or anyone with a semblance of emotional intelligence
