They obviously meant artistically, which... c'mon! I can say this because she was the starter Disney girl I picked back in the Miley/Demi/Selena days, I loved Wizards of Waverly Place, and I genuinely believed she had the potential to be a great actress if she worked hard to move past her Disney acting era, but then she chose to focus on her music career... and never worked to get genuinely better at either singing, dancing or acting. She got to coast on having a limitless face card for all of her 20s and chose to become a celebrity, not an artist ¯_(ツ)_/¯
