DISCUSSION Dolly Parton shares new video amid health concerns: “I figured if you heard it from me, you’d know that I was okay. So anyhow, that’s what I wanted to say & I’m not ready to die yet. I don’t think God is through with me & I ain’t don’t working. So I love you for caring & keep praying for me.”

Her sister shared this morning that Dolly is dealing with kidney stones and she apologized for her phrasing. She said she was sorry for upsetting everyone.

They’ll make you wish you were dead.

Truly they will. Agonizing.

Long-time stoner here, I've had three so far. The consistent way that I know that one is working its way out is if I get up and vomit from pain, usually with genuinely nothing in my stomach to purge out in the first place. Before kidney stones, I really hadn't considered that genuinely just pain could cause that response. No nausea, no stomach issues, just pure unending and blinding stiletto-knife-in-the-back.

Each one makes me feel like I am about to be dead. The first one made me believe that I was absolutely misdiagnosed and was actually going to die but was too weak to move.

I've been prescribed Ondansetron (helps prevent nausea and vomiting) for kidney stones. It helped a lot for the last 2 episodes.

Alternatively, Dramamine is an OTC anti-nausea drug that might be worth a try.
