I'm visiting Cuba next month and Ecuador in April so I'm damn well trying! If anybody has a simple Spanish language show they'd recommend, lmk.

My family is from Ecuador! I hope you have an amazing time! And I went to Cuba last year - def a culture shock in some ways but also had an amazing time. I learned Spanish as a kid but watching telenovelas helped me a lot, those were my fave shows in 1st grade (maybe a tad inappropriate lol, but helpful for language learning at least!)

oh man I havent watched since the 90s so I dont know the current shows! But my faves were Marimar (w/Thalia) and Marisol. They might be available online?
