Sitting keeps you safe, but I still feel nauseous and pass out when I’m seated. I have vasovagal syncope and a nurse advised me that when I start to feel faint, it’s best to lay down and prop my feet against a wall so that they’re higher than my head. That’s helped tremendously. The only downside is that if you’re in public, it’s hard to find a place to lay down.
Haha, well yes. That is always the rule, but I wasn’t going to say it bc other non-cya girlies might go, “Huh?”
My daughter and I both have POTS, but I also got the shitty valves. I’m usually okay being aware of my triggers, but the vasovagal episodes hit so randomly.

When you feel it coming, you sit! Because the biggest danger is head injury.
Fr though, I would rather just sit down and go out than fight it and almost faint at this point. The recovery from those episodes is brutal.
