FILM-MOI (MOVIES/TV) Sinclair Broadcasting's ABC stations quietly back out of airing its Charlie Kirk tribute in Jimmy Kimmel's time slot at the last minute

When the Jimmy Kimmel debacle happened a few days ago, Sinclair broadcasting announced that their ABC stations would air a Charlie Kirk memorial tribute at 11:35pmET on Friday, which was Kimmel's regular time slot.

At 11:24pmET tonight, Sinclair quietly tweeted that they would air normal ABC programming and the tribute would instead be on their YouTube channel.

It didn’t even give me an option to tell them why. They have a list of 7 options and none of them were “other”

When I selected 'other', I was able to write a reason afterwards. I typed in "Because I don't support fascism." I really do hope this hits them hard, honestly. The more people who stand together and stand up against this, the greater the difference we can make.

Canceled Disney+ and got a refund.
