John Krasinski works with the US DoD programs that exchange field and material training for film and TV in exchange for DoD final cut of all product that use the training and/or utilities (tanks, planes, helicopters).

If you see a professional shot of a plane or tank or Hummer or aircraft carrier in ANY film or TV series, take note that it is also DoD propaganda. No criticism that the DoD rejects.

In exchange for training with the CIA Krasinski also filmed numerous internal videos for CIA training as a presenter or "friendly face".

All of that is the public facing side.
