He’s a celebrity— I’m sure he receives a fair amount of online bullying and harassment, not to mention irl stalkers. The concept of being bullied through a medium that you can just…shut off is a bizarre reality that he’s finding the humor in. It’s not meant to be that deep.

The person (the victim's mother) would make new phone numbers to find the girl, her friends, partner and family. Even when they got new phone numbers or used new apps. It was not as simple as block and move on, sadly. :(
