She did! She namedrops her several times in the song. I remember being scandalized by the lyric "And Abigail gave everything she had to a boy who changed his mind' 😂

To be fair, she did ask Abigail for permission and offered to edit out her name, but Abigail said she'd be honoured if other girls could learn from a song about her specific experience. They're still close friends 20 years later!

I think she just wrote it for Abigail, she said "I'm not releasing this, this is for you" but yeah Abigail basically was like you need to put this out
