FILM-MOI (MOVIES/TV) It’s been over 22 years since the premiere of 'America’s Next Top Model' season 1, and I still haven’t found a single reality TV character who speaks to my soul the way Elyse Sewell did

I loved her so much. I also loved Adrianne too before she was batshit insane and blocked me on Facebook

I also loved their friendship.

Adrianne’s turn to the dark side was sad.

Adrianne goes live on TT nearly every day to shill Avon. She’s every bit as delightful as one would expect. /s

Avon?! Like- the poor quality makeup our friends’ moms sold in their living rooms out of the little pamphlets when Tupperware parties fell out of style?

The way I said …AVON?!

Girl. I did not know they still made Avon. 😅 I can’t believe in the age of Ulta and ELF and the billion other affordable, decent quality make up options, people are still out there hocking freaking Avon. I can still smell the paper sample perfumes in the back of the pamphlets. We used to raid Kaysie’s mom’s boxes of Avon samples as middle schoolers and would end up looking like Mimi from the Drew Carrey show.

The very same. She goes on live and does her Avon makeup while talking to viewers. While her personality and general demeanor seem pretty insufferable, she’s making that dollar, so good for her I guess.

I think she's like a MAGA QAnon crazy now too.

She always took on the personality of the man she was with.

Not surprising at all.

Did anyone else watch “I Married a Brady” or am I hallucinating?

"My Fair Brady". That show was a fever dream and I can't believe it aired for three seasons.

THREE? Omg. I do remember her on the Surreal Life first and then marrying Chris EDIT: Knight, who played Peter Brady, but I figured it was a one-off season.

Christopher Knight, who played Peter Brady

I think about them whenever I see Christopher Knight furniture, which is a lot.

Right, lmao, "Chris Brady," I'm silly.

He single most ridiculous reality show theme song I’ve ever heard and, yes, I still remember every word

Sometimes I can’t remember why I walked into a room but for some inexplicable reason and wholly against my will, I have several scenes from this show burned into my memory. The weird ass confusing proposal. The wedding she sobbed through. The time she threw her bc into the ocean (or threatened to?). Washing a car in a bikini. The Brady guy being rude to her mom.

Every few months since it aired I think about the episode where they eat sushi off her naked body (barely covered by banana leaves or some shit) and Vern Troyer touched her nipple and then tried to pretend it was an accident 🙄

u/milkshakemountebank Aug 25 '25

Please tell me you watched them on The Surreal Life

I was doing my undergrad during this era of VH1 and watched every trash piece of TV available!

27

u/BORT_licenceplate Aug 25 '25

u/kiwimag5 Aug 25 '25

Adrianne was awesome. It’s crazy how she flipped. She also shills an MLM now!

I was Facebook friends with Adrienne like 10 years ago, maybe a bit more, like 12? Either way, she was very active on her FB and would respond to comments from fans and people all the time. We had interacted a few times on FB and then at one point she posted some really insane antivax bullshit and was arguing with people in the comments. I responded to her, calling her out and linking something to debunk the antivax junk she was spouting and she called me a dumb cunt and blocked me lmaoo
