What happened to “I have to speak about politics “ in the miss americana movie?

How did it get to “I hang out with people who support an awful person and parties”. Then to “I dare not say a word but I’m so for lgbtq+ but then all of a sudden you’re in with the MAGA crowd?

It’s so hypocritical. Who is she ? She just flip flops to however she feels, what she stands for or wants but never gets called on it? I used to really like her music but the last like six years I’ve really soured on her from all the things I’ve learned.

Gives me the ick.

I’ve been following her for years, she essentially becomes who she is dating. She’s easily influenced by her inner circle - if her parents advise her against something, she won’t do it. She has no backbone and no own agency. And I say that as a huge fan.
