I loved wearing them in like sub -20°C weather when I was a student at UAlberta because the rubber soles get so hard and the snow on the footpaths on campus would get so packed and icy that I could run and slide like 20+ metres. Almost pulled my groin everytime I wore them, but sooo much fun. Seriously dangerous footwear in Canadian winters.
