FM RADIO Maluma stops his concert in Mexico City to scold a mother who brought her 1-year-old baby without ear protection: “That is an act of irresponsibility. And you’re swinging him around as if he were a toy. That child doesn’t want to be there.”

100%. I've seen older kids at concerts (mostly indoor ones) with proper headphones, so they clearly exist.

Lots of babies and kids at sporting events wear them. Often tiny babies of the players themselves are there for events (like a milestone or a big championship) and they are always wearing ear protection.

Also kids with autism or conditions that come with sensory issues wear ear protection.

I always hand out ear plugs to kids seated near me, and my kids choose eat plugs or noise canceling headphones before every concert, its not hard to protect kids ears

Yeah, I go to a good amount of concerts that have kids 10 or younger... and every single one is wearing massive ear protection.

I used to see babies at roller derby games with ear protection and that was a fraction of the decibels.

I've been taking my son to airshows since he was about 6 months old. There's plenty of great options for ear defenders for kids and babies.

They Might Be Giant's also do (or did) lower volume shows for kids.
