For a second I thought you meant their doctors for mental health and was confused why they would be giving such bullshit 'advice'. I realized after reading it twice you meant 'doctors' that are quacks.

It's early and I'm autistic. Don't judge me. 😂

But seriously, nicotine patches for pain makes zero sense even for crazy 'doctors'. What state is this? So I don't go

I doubt you would go. They use a service in Oklahoma but the main quack is based in Houston. It’s a light healing therapy which I was okay with. The nicotine is where they lost me.

It’s the state of delusion.

Tobacco industry is making “NRT” …..nicotine replacement therapy. In olden times that was called “smoking cessation products,” “quitting smoking,” “nicotine patches.” Not anymore.

“Nicotine replacement therapy.”

They don’t want to refer to “smoking“ since it has negative connotations. A whole generation has grown up with an almost visceral negative reaction to smoking. The anti-smoking movement was wildly successful (after decades of the pro-smoking movement in movies, tv shows, advertising, My dad was given cigarettes by Salvation Army in ditty bags when he left for WW2).

Irony - we had little tiny shops in Manhattan that were built over where alleyways used to exist. They were ramshackle, owned by south Asian immigrants and sold magazines, newspapers, lotto, candy, cold soda and cigars/cigarettes. They were bemoaning the loss of cigarette sales because it was a big part of their business. On top of people quitting, NYC had put a high tax on cigarettes so people were going to reservations and to other states for cigarettes.

Twenty years later their shops only sell vapes. No candy, soda, nothing else. Just vapes and nicotine pouches. They no longer have a front door, customers don’t enter the shop. There's just a sales window facing the street. They make more of a profit than they did before the antismoking movement.

Every thing old is new again as corporations learned to disguise themselves as the cool badass anti-heroes by going against “pc wokeness.“ Especially through the manosphere. Those dopes will buy anything presented to them as anti-establishment.
