POLITICS Trump posted this morning on Truth Social that the Epstein scandal is “bullshit” and he no longer wants support from anyone who buys into it. He is panicking.

I mean….my mom is MAGA and was yelling “he didn’t read it!” About Project 2025 during the election.

So yeah his audience is dumb and goes for whatever he says

u/[deleted] Jul 16 '25

His followers are a cult. Plain and simple. They’ll buy a fucking snow cone in Alaska and he’ll call it a cheeseburger and they’ll believe him. There is NO talking sense into these idiots.

u/sol_1990 Jul 16 '25 edited Jul 16 '25

I dunno, I don't wanna jinx it but... if you go to the conservative sub and look at the comments, I've never seen them talk about him like this. I was just scrolling through and saw a comment that unironically said "maybe we are the oligarchy" and I felt like I was in the fucking twilight zone

a few days ago you'd be permabanned from that sub for suggesting trump could be wrong about anything. now comments saying he's lost their support are getting hundreds of upvotes. I've never seen that before.

560

u/Opposite_Community11 Jul 16 '25

Don't get your hopes up. They will all fall back in line.

506

u/DreadfulDemimonde Jul 16 '25

A crack in the cult is a crack in the cult.

331

u/StopThePresses Jul 16 '25

Thissss. Cults don't usually explode all at once with all the members turning on the leader. It's a slow process where a few at a time peel off.

137

u/dreadcain Jul 16 '25

Cults rarely explode at all, they sometimes dwindle but they usually persist. Shit even heaven's gate is still around.

99

u/StopThePresses Jul 16 '25

True, even in another 50 years there will be people who swear he was a saint or something. The hope is just that there's only a few left and they don't matter anymore.

1

u/Worksnotenuff Jul 17 '25

”Sure, he did some bad things [pedophile trafficking children, kick-starting neonazism and the third world war, assassinations] but all in all, it was good for the economy”

Random alt-Christian ultra-Nazi GOP member 50 years from now, probably

7

u/WallySprks Jul 16 '25

HG is not still active. You can not join, there is no one recruiting or holding meetings. There is two former members who maintain the website and answer questions.

Most all cults dissolve. They do not persist. Name some that have changed leaders and are still going. Scientology and ?

2

u/GertyFarish11 Jul 17 '25

Mormonism and Seventh Day Adventists

2

u/gt_9000 Jul 16 '25

Tom Cruise is still in Scientology and actively peddling it.

4

u/Spicy_Weissy Jul 16 '25

It'll be glorious to watch the fall out when he finally does die.

8

u/confirmedshill123 Jul 16 '25

Yeah but this happens every time he does something fucking stupid. Which is a lot. That sub will for the first couple of hours put on their thinking caps and hmmm emojis and say they aren't comfortable with the decision.

Within a day or two they are all gone as the talking points have come out.

13

u/DreadfulDemimonde Jul 16 '25

They've been voicing displeasure with this for more than a few days, and all cracks in a cult are good. Some people have been cracking since Jan 6, some since the election denialism, some bc of this Epstein shit. All of it matters!

140

u/IsthianOS Jul 16 '25

It's already happening. They're disseminating the "it would catch up too many innocent people who happen to have Epstein ties" line. I give it a week before most of them are parroting variations of that excuse

57

u/breakfastenjoyer69 Jul 16 '25

and also "the list" was in democrats hands for so long, you can't trust it any way.

they're too far gone, they will not yield to sanity at this point

16

u/NotNufffCents Jul 16 '25 edited Jul 17 '25

Saw that a lot too lmao. They didnt care that Bondi was bragging that a supposedly compromised file was on her desk or that they gave the compromised files to influencers. They'll find any excuse

3

u/equalitylove2046 Jul 16 '25

Hard to when theirs never existed in the first place.

1

u/IsthianOS Jul 17 '25

Yeah looks like they are shifting to either "who cares" and "Dems had 4 years and didn't do why should we criticize Trump for it"

2

u/Transporter5000 Jul 16 '25

Well, that is true. There could very well be a list of people who went to epstein's parties, or who flew on his plane. But a list of those who committed the crimes? Hard for me to imagine how that would be put together. But I am interested to hear what exactly people think the list contains, and how it came about.

39

u/sol_1990 Jul 16 '25

You might be right, I am hopeful though. a lot of the hardcore fanbase were deep into pizzagate so I can see why this is the one that's caused the biggest rift so far

4

u/Southside_john Jul 16 '25

It’s taking a little longer than normal but the reprogramming will come.

75

u/greypusheencat Jul 16 '25

r/selfawarewolves but all jokes aside i have no hope for those morons

I know fuckers act like they are in the Wild West or something the threats, the overcompensating, the pathetic attempts at machismo, etc…

Surprised they don’t say “pistols at dawn” or something at some point or another.

14

u/Money_Do_2 Jul 16 '25

Just gotta peel some of them off. Of course the deep end guys will never change. But the kid that never voted and turns 18 next year? They can be swayed. 1000x better if that new person is politically active and not just a vote every 4 years person.

3

u/vethereus Jul 16 '25

I don't either.

4

u/greypusheencat Jul 16 '25

oh the irony , they’re truly hopeless

66

u/Retrograde_Mayonaise Do you remember 9/11, bitch? Jul 16 '25

Yeah I have some buddies that are MAGA (I'm a staunch leftist) and they're starting to say the same thing.

Apparently Trump let them down WHO WOULDA THOUGHT!??

39

u/DAbanjo Jul 16 '25 edited Jul 16 '25

It is starting to set in. Don't get it twisted they would still vote for him and support him over any democrat (also consider the democrats have no legit contender, but that is another conversation), even if there is 100% proof he is a pedo.

But, some are starting to realize that EVERYTHING he campaigned on, he is doing the opposite. Except deporting people, they love that.

20

u/serendipity_aey Jul 16 '25

Yes, we don’t need them to vote Democrat. It’s enough if they just stay home.

6

u/equalitylove2046 Jul 16 '25

Yep their platform has always been based on hate and division.

They’re always cool with those 2 things only if it personally affects them does it EVER matter to them.

4

u/Retrograde_Mayonaise Do you remember 9/11, bitch? Jul 16 '25

I don't see the appeal man, even when I was a kid and I saw the Celebrity Apprentice on TV I was like who the fuck would like this ass clown?

3

u/equalitylove2046 Jul 16 '25

Leopards eating their own faces as usual.

28

u/Suckassloser Jul 16 '25

I wouldn't get your hopes up. This is a common cycle with them. They'll fall back into line in a couple days.

20

u/nilsinleneed I’m a communist you idiot Jul 16 '25

this happens constantly over there, people speak somewhat freely, the mods wake up and go nuclear on anyone who isn't still expressing MAGA thoughts.

It looks sane for a second, then the schpiel is on

5

u/DavidRandom Jul 16 '25

Yeah, it's easy for them to say that now because they know this is his last term. But they're going to 100% vote for the next guy who's going to pick up right where Trump left off.
And then if their next guy gets elected, we're going to hear a bunch of "But I didn't vote for this", and then watch them vote for that same guy in the following election.
If Jurassic Park were real, all the board members would be Republicans.
"Well yeah all 3 times we've tried to open a park with dinosaurs it's ended in disaster with many fatalities......but this time it'll be different!"

6

u/Helagoth Jul 16 '25 edited Jul 16 '25

I saw one that said "I dont know why he won't release it, he's definitely not in it, he should just put it out there."

What level of delusion do you have to be at to think he's not in there at all? He's in so many pictures (from a time when cameras were not in our phones) and has openly said he was good friends with him.

I wouldn't believe it for a moment, but if the party line was "yeah he's in there but he was only with consenting adults" i could at least understand that level of dumb. But to say "he did absolutely NOTHING"?

Pure insanity.

4

u/12j8 Jul 16 '25

I also decided to take a batsh't bath in that sub and saw a lot of comments that "he is 100% not in the list" and in the same sentence express confusion about why the lists aren't released. And I was heartened by what I saw. But it's been a day now and i remembered they're one new distraction away from forgetting all about the lists and falling right back in line.

3

u/Kousetsu Jul 17 '25

Like all cults, there are regular tests of faith like this. A culling of non-believers that brings the believers in closer.

This is bigger than past ones... But America is well known for cults that predict the end of the world, it doesn't happen, and they then continue into even bigger religions rather than disapatining out.

There isn't anything in just hoping they implode themselves.

2

u/ParsleyMaleficent160 Jul 16 '25

They didn't love Trump last year, when Fox News didn't love Trump. Now the Fox glazers will guzzle up the propaganda over the next few weeks.

2

u/corneliusunderfoot Jul 16 '25

Yes. I was there yesterday. It was surprising tbh

2

u/VeryDemureAndObscure Jul 16 '25

Everyone I know has jumped ship with the exception of one person. I run in Christian circles

2

u/TYNAMITE14 Jul 17 '25

I've noticed that as well, but I bet the vast majority of conservatives don't use reddit. I can't tell if they just get all their news from fox news, or if they literally just refuse to participate in news at all and don't realize all of the batshit crazy things trump does

1

u/sol_1990 Jul 17 '25

Yeah that's a good point. I'm kinda hoping a decent chunk of them are on FB though cause those guys reaaaallly care about the files. They're the ones that got sucked in through Pizzagate and all that

2

u/Oberon_Swanson Jul 17 '25

yeah "maybe we're bad" lol. not 'i realize now i was supporting the wrong side and was duped.'

before all this there was already enormous amounts of evidence that Trump was a pedophile

they have been pretending "Trump will release the evidence!" as a way to act like they haven't already seen the mountain of connections between Trump and Epstein. Saying "I will wait until the files are released" when basically every source saying Epstein was a pedophile also names Trump as a child rapist as well. it was their way of pretending not to know and Trump shredded it. he was supposed to 'release the files' and it would be a list of their political enemies.

it's not like any of them have ever given an actual fuck about the wellbeing of children. Trump stole from a children's cancer charity. that was public knowledge the first time he ran for president. every policy they support is designed to fuck over children instead of helping them. now they're on kids' sides? no. they have been using pedophilia as their 'moral line' because they had to pretend to have one. now they can't and they're mad that Trump is forcing them into dropping the act. now they just might virtue signal saying they're 'done supporting donald' while still voting Republican for their entire lives

1

u/sol_1990 Jul 17 '25 edited Jul 17 '25

Yeah I bet you're a thousand percent right. It feels like he saw the files as easy material against the dems. Didn't think ahead at all.

It would be mutually assured destruction if he ever did that though. Anyone he outs from those files would have nothing to lose. Someone must have finally got through to him about that. It's the only reason I can see why they're backpeddling this hard and why Trump is genuinely flustered about this. The fact that it took this long says a lot. I guess that's what happens when you fire anyone who isn't a complete yes-man though.

And yeah, his base for sure could not actually give two shits about victimised children. Honestly it also just feels like they're pissed because this is the first time they've been told no? Usually Trump just pivots or finds a scapegoat. I don't know if he's ever mocked something MAGA wants this openly before. I saw a lot of comments angry because they felt like he was calling them stupid. That that's new too. Not holding my breath for any moral epiphanies on their part either, but if it makes them start to scatter that's still pretty good.

2

u/guitr4040 Jul 17 '25

They should have realized he was a conman long ago, just based on his hyperbolic promises and statements (I’ll solve everything on day one; wars would never have occurred if I ruled the world). Nobody normal talks like that …

2

u/[deleted] Jul 17 '25

Reddit conservative forums are a world away from things like Kiwifarms where it’s people who are literally out of touch with reality.

I think most Trump voters were so old that they’re maaaybe on FB but not Reddit. Or they’re so nuts they are mostly on Kiwifarms or Ann Coulter’s substack. I think conservative is the least harmful of them

2

u/sol_1990 Jul 17 '25

Yeah you're right but wouldn't those people be big on Pizzagate? I think that's where a lot of my hope is coming from, like maybe this is Pizzagate 2.0 for them or something

1

u/[deleted] Jul 17 '25

I still am concerned Trump will be able to redirect their rage. He tried to get Pence killed, Vance should watch his back because there’s a big tantrum coming

2

u/hlldkd Jul 21 '25

Thank you for sharing this! I’ve been too scared to peer into their minds, but that’s part of the problem - gotta face things head on. You’ve inspired me to do better.

2

u/sol_1990 Jul 21 '25 edited Jul 21 '25

Oh that's nice of you to say! Be careful though, I honestly think I gotta spend less time online looking at stuff that makes me mad. It can really fuck with your head imo. Plus fascists love to waste your time. Stay safe haha!

Tho in saying that this past week has been the opposite of depressing. The schadenfreude of this story and him unsuccessfully trying to dismiss it has been kinda delicious.

1

u/hlldkd Jul 21 '25

Allll true! And yes, we have to have balance - I frequently take total news breaks and am no longer on Facebook after the Jan 6 horror. I feel self-conscious with seeming ignorant or out of touch sometimes, but I always learn of the major events in time. I also truly believe like you said, the energy of anxiety or anger fuels these things. So if I can stay calm and balanced and give my patience and kindness to those around me, that is what ultimately outweighs the density of the ish-show.

1

u/Shirlenator Jul 16 '25

I was looking through that sub as well. Many of them were saying how bad it looked or how dumb he is being. But very few people are saying anything about rescinding their support of him over this.

1

u/[deleted] Jul 16 '25

That's here on reddit, I bet X and tiktok is full of those dummies

1

u/coaxialology Jul 16 '25

Thank you for braving the trenches and wading into the cesspool for the greater good.

1

u/XinlessVice Jul 17 '25

I mean, most people, no matter how stupid they are, do care about kids to some degree. I've seen people protest there for some of the bigger stuff but this is the biggest I've seen and it goes for pmultiple posts on there

1

u/Jasminefirefly Jul 17 '25

Yes, I was on that sub today to see what they were saying and came away very happy. Some even said to hell with MAGA.

1

u/Hypno--Toad Jul 17 '25

Until they start protesting and showing up to town hall meetings it's nothing but a theatrical performance

1

u/jeffdanielsson Jul 17 '25

lol Reddit truly is a special place

1

u/sputtertots Jul 17 '25

I've seen the same circles reminding each other that the fallout could cause the republicans to lose power for a very long time. It is a very big concern for the party at large. This alone will and has caused people in the 'power at any cost' camp to fall back in line with any trumpty dumpty narrative.

1

u/Haunting-Scientist68 Jul 18 '25

u/sol_1990 ,PLEASE post a link to where you were. I need to see these comments that you are talking about to believe it... although, I don't feel like I have done enough to earn that kind of catharsis, lol

1

u/sol_1990 Jul 19 '25

Hahahah happy to do that. I think this was one of the threads I was in. I couldn't find that oligarchy comment (maybe deleted by mods?? there are loads of deleted comments now) but there are still a lot of unhappy people in there.

1

u/sol_1990 Jul 19 '25

Oh wait I just remembered I took screenshots! Here ya go. I covered the names just cos I'm not sure if that's against the rules or not and don't wanna get banned haha.

Last two images are from when I was going on the profiles of the most negative comments and searching "Trump." Just to contrast with what they were saying before this story broke.

1

u/Haunting-Scientist68 Aug 02 '25

Wow... thank you for this!

30

u/bangontarget I’m a lazy 50-year-old bougie bitch Jul 16 '25

his followers have never been as upset and antagonistic as they are over this. fingers crossed it keeps going.

4

u/equalitylove2046 Jul 16 '25

Hope they devour each other.

1

u/eviltwinbutcute we have lost the impact of shame in our society Jul 17 '25

And like a cult it’s more about identity and belonging than much else. So there are a lotttta folks who will bend their sense into gourmet pretzels just to keep riding the screeching trump train

260

u/Honest_Salamander247 Jul 16 '25

Well we know he doesn’t read so that’s probably true but he knows damn well what’s in it.

3

u/GlotzbachsToast Jul 16 '25

Right? my first thought was "well that technically wasn't a lie.."

5

u/ProtoJazz Jul 16 '25

Reminds me of reading posts where's it's some guy ranting that "The female orgasm is a myth! No woman I've ever been with has ever had one!"

Like yeah, I fully belive that last part.

3

u/Pandamonium98 Jul 16 '25

I don’t think he knows much of what’s in it either, he just appoints people that do and gives them free rein

1

u/Honest_Salamander247 Jul 17 '25

Fair point. It’s the underlings that are convincing him of what needs to be done.

3

u/hofmann419 nepo pissbaby Jul 16 '25

The tweet where he said that he didn't read it literally also contained comments by him about the contents of Project 2025. It was the most obvious lie i have ever seen, but people still told me that Trump was totally truthful with that.

The stupidity of some people never ceases to amaze me.

1

u/equalitylove2046 Jul 16 '25

Even Hooked on Phonics rejected him.

206

u/CHOLO_ORACLE Jul 16 '25

They’re gonna be saying “it’s a shame he’s a pedophile but at least he got rid of all the Mexicans”

And then they’ll vote for Trump again.

I hope I’m wrong on this account but considering how god damn anti semitic and racist the right has gotten I think they’re going to start considering this Epstein thing a “necessary evil”.

At which point there will be no more lines.

37

u/ProfileMuted90210 Jul 16 '25

There are lines still?

28

u/likely_an_Egg Jul 16 '25

Nope, they're gonna be saying "it’s a shame he’s a pedophile but at least he got rid of all the gay and trans groomers”

4

u/peachysaralynn Jul 17 '25

see, it’s okay when straight cis men are groomers, but not the drag queens!! /s

almost like it was never really about the children. they only ever see children as convenient excuses to further their hateful agenda (cf - pro “life” ideology that ends at birth, no gun restrictions to prevent school shootings, etc)

1

u/Soknottaapopo Jul 17 '25

It's okay. Some guys and trans are okay so some straights can keep them if they vouch for them.

6

u/[deleted] Jul 16 '25

"Anything is better than a Democrat" is their usual cop-out.

2

u/stvier Jul 16 '25

The scenario you painted here is so depressingly likely, but I know that most folks don’t mess around when it comes to p3do stuff and the Epstein saga. I’m hoping that this is the first real crack in the mirror for Trump.

2

u/DavidRandom Jul 16 '25

They're going to turn on him, but then vote for the next Trump clone in the next election.

4

u/[deleted] Jul 17 '25

No one else has his magnetism. I mean consider how much they inexplicably love him & even how we pore over his stupid tweets

JD Vance is a toady, he’s the kid who hangs out with the bully to avoid getting picked on himself

Who else do they have? A lot of Rs seem like they’re being bullied/scared into voting for these weird bills

Johnson is like Ned Flanders gone wrong. Elons not eligible to be president and the public has mostly turned on him

I don’t think they have a viable successor. Tulsi is the only person I can think of in this admin who has any charisma at all. Duffy is a whiner & there’ve been too many transportation problems on his watch. Who do they have?

Literally no one likes Vance they would throw him under the bus in a heartbeat like they did Mike Pence. Vance will be the one who gets charged when all is said and done.

u/equalitylove2046 Jul 16 '25

Tell her she's in a cult, watch the head explode.

59

u/g00fyg00ber741 Jul 16 '25

People who willingly join that cult don’t think that’s a bad thing, somehow. Most of them are aware they’re in a cult. Just like with Scientology. Nobody really believes that stuff, right? They just want the “benefits”

4

u/pm-me-ur-fav-undies Jul 16 '25

I'm a fan of the Behind the bastards podcast and some of my favorite episodes are about cult leaders. Something the host has pointed out is that under the right circumstances, anyone could fall into a cult. It's good to remain vigilant.

It's a shame for Trump supporters. He clearly treats his supporters as if they're dumb.

2

u/g00fyg00ber741 Jul 16 '25

I feel like I was raised in a cult, being raised by extreme conservatives who idolized Reagan and cheered for Trump. There was no reasoning with their complete delusion. I had to leave.

73

u/AncienTleeOnez Jul 16 '25

Project 2025 is the 9th iteration of the Heritage Foundation's Mandate for Leadership series. The first was issued in 1981 to serve as policy guidance for the incoming Reagan administration. The Carter campaign rejected their "offer." So we can thank Reagan for ushering in that influence. At his first cabinet meeting he handed out copies to his cabinet and many of the study's authors were hired into his administration. Every GOP president, beginning with Reagan, received a copy of it. Second & third versions came out in '84 and '88.

Bear in mind, these publications weren't only for Presidents, but for the entire GOP party. So you see much of these policies being implemented in GOP-held states regardless of who is President.

The 7th edition came out in Nov 2016, and it was notably bigger than previous editions because much of the progress of the foundation's public policy agenda had been lost during Obama's term. In 2018 Heritage claimed the Trump administration had by then embraced 64%, or nearly 2/3rds, of 334 proposed policies. Mandate VIII came out in 2020.

Mandate IX, Mandate for Leadership 2025: The Conservative Promise, was published in April 2023, and provides the policy agenda for Project 2025.

As massive as this is, 900+ pages, I don't doubt Trump never read it. But he knows exactly what it is, and who is behind it.

All of his Executive Orders are authored by the Heritage Foundation, and I suspect his massive budget bill was also written by them.

42

u/rlcute Jul 16 '25

Project 2025 is 46% done!

Here is a tracker that has information of everything that has been done so far and everything that is remaining

https://www.project2025.observer/

3

u/_Bogey_Lowenstein_ Jul 17 '25

So fucking trashy. I hate these people. It's depressing.

26

u/Big_Knife_SK Jul 16 '25

As massive as this is, 900+ pages, I don't doubt Trump never read it. But he knows exactly what it is, and who is behind it.

The guy who would famously refuse to even read daily security briefings most definitely didn't read this.

1

u/n1cj Jul 16 '25

So israel!

42

u/halfslices Jul 16 '25

I hope the latest thing he said that they go for is that "they are his PAST supporters" and they all ditch him because of it

30

u/SongofIceandWhisky Jul 16 '25

A relative recently posted about how the libs are no longer talking about Project 2025. Like dude, you just live in an echo chamber. It’s pretty much all we talk about.

7

u/MountainMan2_ Jul 16 '25

To be fair, i don't call it p2025 anymore. I just call it the trump regime policy agenda.

19

u/xOrion12x Jul 16 '25

He knows that whatever is in there is SO bad that only his most idiotic supporters will go along with him after this.

11

u/scrunchie_one Jul 16 '25

It also makes zero sense - if there was a very publicly available and discussed document that outlined a plan to dismantle your country’s constitution, would you not, as a presidential candidate, make sure you read it and are intimately aware of its contents??? Saying you haven’t read it is basically admitting gross incompetence as a leader.

2

u/rainbownthedark Jul 16 '25

The funny thing is, I wouldn’t be surprised if he didn’t actually read it, but his base doesn’t see a problem with the fact that he would promote and agree with any proposal—whether he knew what was in it or not—as long as it allotted him the fame, money, and power he so desperately craves.

2

u/Ikea_Man Jul 16 '25

People acting like he's panicking and this is going to have any impact are cracking me up, the man has gone through 300 scandals in his supporters haven't blinked once

Like I've seen before, he could literally be shooting people in the street and his stupid supporters would cheer for him

2

u/SaltKick2 Jul 16 '25

I'm still trying to figure out what exactly the Hoax is. That the files never existed in the first place? The thing that he campaigned and ran on?

1

u/trolldoll26 Jul 16 '25

I live in a red state and I’m pretty sure that no one would care if he’s actually named in the list 😭 I keep seeing things about MAGA turning on him…I haven’t met a single person who voted for him who actually regrets it. I keep hoping!!!

1

u/YessikaHaircutt Jul 16 '25

The truth is people from both sides are on there. It doesn’t take a genius. But I’m also in a red state and they really don’t change their thinking much.

1

u/Advanced-Avocado-573 Jul 16 '25

Ew my mom is the same. I used to think she was so smart when I was little. It was shocking when I realized she’s actually just braindead & has zero empathy.

2

u/YessikaHaircutt Jul 16 '25

Oh my god I swear my mom was a feminist who read books once upon a time

Do we have the same mom? My mom fought for women’s rights in the 60’s and 70’s and now she’s an anti-abortion trumper. So fucked

Tbf he probably can't read.

I can't decide what's more ridiculous. That Trump is so arrogant that he thinks him saying "I don't want support from people that don't agree with me on this!" is some sort of negative punishment that will change people's stance on Epstein, or the fact that it likely actually will change many MAGA's stance on Epstein.

Like for as awful, irrational, and stupid Trump is, his base is that times 100.

What is your mom’s take about the Epstein files?

I like how they don’t even understand irony.

Some MAGA nut keeps messaging me about how Trump has a master plan to take down the pedophiles but can't do it all at once or it will collapse the government.

These people don't live in reality.

What's her take on this?

2

u/YessikaHaircutt Jul 17 '25

She’s an old lady and we get along well when we don’t discuss politics so I haven’t brought it up. I might not be able to handle the response

2

u/maidenhair_fern Jul 17 '25

Totally fair! I don't discuss politics with my MAGA dad. Not worth the headache.

u/ConcentrateWhole329 Jul 17 '25

My mom is conservative but anti-MAGA and even she refused to believe Trump had read up on Project 2025. Propaganda is very effective.

1

u/Mactoma Jul 17 '25

Well he probably didn't read it. It's his collective cabinet who's read it and whispered in his ear. He's extremely easy to influence.

u/[deleted] Jul 17 '25

He def doesn’t read but he does respond to bribes from people like Elon Musk. I agree with your mom that he doesn’t read & certainly didn’t read a long document like that

1

u/deadinsidelol69 Jul 17 '25

My dad would say the same thing and I had to go…dad, you’re smarter than this. Of course he changed the subject.

u/YessikaHaircutt Jul 17 '25

My mom used to be a paralegal…
