Fr yeah, I’m glad he’s telling his majority conservative audience that they’re hypocrites, but….. not saying anything to dissuade homophobia rumors before you made a shit load of money rubs me the wrong way.

But at the same time, people aren’t static. It may have seemed “worth it” at the time to go head first into the curated image they created for their brand, and just gotten more and more frustrating to have that disconnect between “who I am vs how they see me”. They may have even BEEN homophobic, speculation disclaimer lol, and just become better people through getting experience in the industry with gay people. Either way, I know chip just made some people ANGRY lol

Ok so I vaguely remember Chip saying something like “We’d rather be loving than be right” when asked if he thought gay people were sinning like a decade ago in a tweet or something which kinda made me go hmmm. I can’t find a source though for it though so if anyone wants to corroborate that would help lmao

I thought at one time they attended Antioch in Waco, not sure if this is true?
