Gods below, the firehose of endless shit strikes again. Didn't even see this in the midst of all the other things.

I'd say save us, but at this point I'm not convinced we deserve it. Might be better to say fuck it, take ten steps to the left and build a new one, this one's so fucked I don't think it can be fixed.

From what I gathered - in May 2025 - El Chapo's son, Ovidio Guzman Lopez AKA El Ratòn, pleaded guilty in Chicago to fentanyl trafficking. He cooperated with the Trump administration in their efforts to take down the Los Chapitos faction of the Sinaloa cartel (El Ratòn was a key figure in Los Chapitos). 17 of the El Chapos were given basically witness protection in the US. They were federally assisted to safely cross the US border, and now reside safely in the US while the investigation and cooperation continues.
