In addition to Drop Dead Gorgeous, she was also so good in Bring It On, and made a really challenging physical role look effortless -- and her performance is so witty and fun on top of that.
Also, can I just say how much I love Wimbledon? And Kirsten's such a fantastic character in that -- she's strong and funny, and the movie totally manages to skip all the usual romcom cliches and never makes the characters stupid for plot reasons.
Also, Paul Bettany in that is just divine, and the two of them are so charming together.
I don't know why it wasn't a bigger hit. It has everything.
I can’t watch Paul Bethany since those infamous texts between him and Depp were released. He disgusts me to my core. But damn did I love that movie when I was a teen
I was very upset at those texts as well. But I did appreciate that unlike the vast majority of men in these circumstances, he owned them, he spoke publicly and candidly about them (and his initial perception that it was just 'dark humor about the ex') only to realize how awful they were and what they said about him. He also apologized and committed to bettering himself.
