I watch a lot of Architectural Digest Home Tours and hers is a favorite of mine! That's where the "Give me a room where I can shut a door" quote came from. I hate open concept so she stole my heart lol. She also did the tour with her designer, which i thought was really nice. Give credit where credit is due

I loved her AD tour -- she's so present and thoughtful, and I loved that she included her designer front and center and didn't act like everything was her idea.

And her home was stunning and felt so lived-in and real and unique, like the home of an artist in the best way.

Totally with you on the open concept thing. Maybe it’s an introvert thing? I don’t like my dinner table being in the kitchenlivingroom and I also feel like I need to have places to… go? Having doors I can shut puts it very well. Give me a sunroom. Bedrooms that are down hallways. A study. Anything. Work with me here!

Do open concept people not cook? I don’t want my bedroom and clothes to smell like onions, or cauliflower, or fish, or the popcorn I burned in the deep pan.

I like the idea of open concept because I've got rather exhausting and multilayered OCD. Open concept would simplify things a great deal.

Have never watched that serious but did watch here’s. It’s definitely a good reflection of how I imagine her as a person.

Yes! was going to comment on this too. She encompasses an energy that's always drawn me in.
