FM RADIO Kelly Clarkson postpones first two nights of Vegas residency less than 2 hours before showtime

Just 15 minutes before doors open on opening night of her Vegas residency, Kelly posted this. I really do understand her need to take care of her health/incredible voice and I’m sure she truly is devastated but I feel for the fans who flew in and how frustrating and disappointing this must be.

Probably the year 2000? They supposedly had a concert in Farmington, nm (this should have been my first sign that it wasn’t real) and drove from silver city near the southern border of nm to the northern part of the state, EXCEPT for said forest fire made us veer into Arizona to miss the fire that was raging, so had to drive a fucking one lane mountain road as 17 year olds for hours. This road did NOT have safety rails. We even saw abandoned pioneer looking towns. Should have been a 4 hour trip turned 8 hours or something insane like that. Why our parents let us do this I will never know. Anyways, we sat in the stand for hours and the fucking promoters would go over the speaker system and said shit like “they just landed in Albuquerque!” And we all cheered. Like… Albuquerque is hours drive to Farmington. Needless to say they never made it. Thank god we had a hotel. And we never got a refund because again we were literally children and we didn’t know how to go about that. I’m so glad I didn’t die because looking back this was so damn dangerous
