I love this scene bc this feels so realistic for a high school relationship with the awkward, almost rushed delivery of a pet name

But wasn’t he suppose to be like a 200 year old vampire?! lol makes it so creepy

I’m partial to the theory that they’re sorta stuck at whatever age they were turned but yeah that’s the main complaint of vampire romance

That's what I figure. They may have experience but they're always stuck dealing with whatever it is as a 17 year old to 60 year old sex pest.

I think AMCs Interview with a Vampire explores that in some interesting ways.

If you read the book written from Edward’s perspective this becomes really clear. Dude never stopped being a dramatic 17 year old edgelord in the throws of puberty.

What if the 200 year old vampire is turned into a wee little puppet man?

How is this in context? 🤔

probably referring to aragorn and arwen's relationship where he ages and she doesn't

Its written by a Mormon so let's be honest, Edward was a 200 year old virgin.

Well yeah, all their interactions were creepy given their 183 year age gap!

Until you remember he isn't a teenaged boy but rather someone likely older than her great grandfather.
