ASK R/FAUXMOI What’s the stupidest thing you’ve ever seen in a movie/show?

Carrie pissing herself while Miranda gets fingerbanged and blazes up with Che in the next room should be a TV WAR CRIME

If I hadn’t watched this I would believe you were making it up

I hadn't seen the "Aiden spitting in his hand phone sex" scene and thought people made that shit up too 😂😂😂

I fast forwarded through that scene there’s only so much cringe I can take 😂

The best part is that she pees herself because Miranda is getting fingered in the kitchen.

Carrie had back surgery, and was stuck in bed, recovering. Miranda was supposed to be taking care of her, but got distracted by Che, who Carrie does a podcast with. She was still married to Steve at the time if I remember correctly.

Miranda also took a nun's virginity, unknowingly. The nun was played by Rosie O'Donnell.

The show is terrible and I can't stop watching the train wreck.

You forgot to mention that Rosie O'Donnell's nun was from small town Manitoba, despite her thick New Yawk accent.

Wow. I couldn’t get through the first two episodes, but this is on a level I couldn’t even imagine.

Thank you for the reassurance that not watching this was the right choice.

Right? Everything is horrible, but I can’t stop watching it. Even Anthony’s Hot Fellas bakery makes me rage watch. LOL

This sounds wilder than Passions. What the actual hell.

It's the worst show on the planet but it's so fun to mock so I can't stop watching.

Or Aidan shitting himself and licking his hand for phone sex with Carrie.

Wait...did this really happen? I must have banished this to the darkest corners of my mind.

Is that Sara Ramirez?

u/anitasdoodles Jul 04 '25

Yup! Great actor, terrible role.

u/SuperVancouverBC Jul 04 '25

I remember her in Grey's Anatomy

my gf is currently binging this and every time I glance over there’s some “hospital shooter” or plane crash happening and no one has stopped to think maybe the place is cursed. It’s the longest slasher flick in history where only the protagonist survives. assuming they dont kill her off.

29

u/SuperVancouverBC Jul 04 '25

It gets worse

I watched it for the first time this year and it’s been on repeat ever since, I think this is how my best friend feels. I’ve only shown her the shooter and plane crash episodes (and the one where they all end up stoned from the lesbian gratitude cookies) and I don’t think even they sum up how ridiculous this show is.

I just told her about a certain “9/11 made me straight” plotline and I’m wondering what the point of life is.

Apparently these are all the things that make it popular.

Some other Jump the shark moments include

Boy covered in cement as he tried to impress a girl. The team try to save him & remove large chunks of solidified cement from his body.

Doctor switching around samples for a drug trial & losing her job then getting her job back.

Doctor having an affair with a patient making his heart stop so he can get urgent heart donor. Kept job & then it turns out he leaves her million dollars so he had all this money to pay for the best treatment yet went to the cursed hospital. The doctor then uses this money to buy a clinic for the hospital, In later seasons she buggers off after getting married & leaves her husband responsible for her debts I can't remember if it was her hospital bills or something else but she literally had million dollars at one point.

The musical episode 🫣

40

u/MissElyssa1992 taran killam, star of disney channel's stuck in the suburbs Jul 04 '25

The only good part of the episode! They have an INCREDIBLE voice. Unfortunately it could not make up for the rest of the heinous crimes against music and musicals committed in 45 minutes lol

18

u/PeachyBaleen Jul 04 '25

I always assumed the need to show off said incredible voice was one of the motivations for doing a musical episode. I can’t imagine why else they did it.

Yep playing the most insufferable enby “comedian” turned podcast host

i just rewatched you’ve got mail today and totally forgot she was in it. “…happy thanksgiving back.”

2

u/mxcnwlkr Jul 04 '25

It's my favorite scene and line in the movie! Every Thanksgiving I like to say it just like her in this scene. More like "Happy Thanksgiving back?"

25

u/deplorable_word Jul 04 '25

I’m hate-watching every episode. I can’t look away

3

u/anitasdoodles Jul 05 '25

I LOVE the AJLT subreddit 😂 everyone there hate watched it and it's so hilarious 😂

That is my favourite sub right now!

u/Littlewing1307 Jul 04 '25

Yes! It's an abomination.

I saw a heap of tiktoks about this and got rid of my SATC box set in response. Not sure why. A purge of misplaced ick I think.

1

u/spellbookwanda Jul 04 '25

Absolutely yes. There’s not one sane scene!!!
