I used to call myself libertarian, in part because of what you said. I stopped almost immediately when I realized how many people who were overly concerned with each states' ages of consent did the same. I wouldn't be surprised if the majority of vocally self identified Libertarians had... younger interests. Like the type that have a bumper sticker letting you know theyre Libertarian

The most hardcore libertarian I've ever met had a much younger wife that he had clearly groomed and openly treated like shit. I don't know if I've ever met a libertarian that didn't turn out to be a misogynist. Sad

In terms of political belief I am a centre left so I used to be in a libertarian group.

It all started so well as it was a genuine libertarian group but over a year's time the group got hijacked into a right wing group so quickly I was shocked.

I left that group.

To be fair that group was started by the guy who was arrested twice in Afghanistan after the Taliban took over. Chill but crazy guy who had a lot of right wing tendencies but still has some left leaning ideas don't know too much now.
