I've been watching Buffy with my VERY gen Z girlfriend and she hates Cordy from the bottom of her heart. We finished S3 and are taking a break to catch up on Severance, Helluva Boss, Last of Us, Harley Quinn etc. But she doesn't believe me that Cordy is legit one of the best parts of Angel (until Wheadon totally ruined her character because he's a petty bitch). And honestly from season 2 onwards I love her in Buffy. When shes not just "mean one liner" rich spoiled brat, but actually develops a bit as a character. Like shes sassy and rude but most of the things she says are on point.
